To provide context to American viewers: although the UK is in general, outside of a small number of troglodytes, very committed to LGBT rights, and there is very little stigma surrounding being gay these days (none at all in much of society), gay men don’t exist in football. At all. AT. ALL. Last year there was an

Some might think Keely’s reaction was a tacit judgement on Colin. She’s just not that character. But if they’re going to pursue a plot line there, and this is the first blip on that radar, someone has to react in some way so that it’s significant to the audience. This is storytelling after all. Keely, who has her

Frankly, even if we accept her questionable inference, Keeley’s taken-aback reaction to Colin maybe being queer is a bit interesting/concerning. The show generally presents Keeley as being very kind and open-minded, so it would be a bit odd for the writers to have her react that way. Hard to tell if it was an

“Hey Kids, let me tell you about all the chicks I banged” was the working title

I don’t know; I thought there was real poignancy in the idea of a guy telling his kids this incredibly long and detailed story about their deceased mother as a way to work up his own courage to ask them if they were okay with him dating again (and them readily agreeing).  I do like this alternate ending, though.

9 Reasons We Hated How I Met Your Father (And 2 Reasons We Loved It)

I wasn’t being pro-cliffhanger. I was observing that a lot of showrunners (among others) use them to drum up interest in a follow-up that might never get made.

I never though of this but it makes total sense.

Unrelated comment that should have been a new thread but isn’t.

Comment posted too quickly for me to have read article in entirety. Condescending sentence calling out author for not including piece of information clearly detailed in paragraph 4 of the story. Follow-up referencing tangential or entirely unrelated fact betraying a shallow understanding of the topic based on half a

NOTE: To ostensible adults in the grays who cannot parse information, if you have a legitimate medical reason to not have the vaccine (that isn’t wholecloth bullshit you made up), I ain’t fucking talking about you.

Those of us with kids under the age of 12 are at the mercy of those stupid randos, unfortunately.

Same, I did what I was supposed to do and distanced, masked and cancelled anything that was non essential for 450 days straight. I pissed off coworkers that didn’t take it seriously, family got mad at me for insisting masks, my relationship suffered because we were shut inside together all winter. It was all worth not

I’m not saying there’s no chance that could have happened. I do, however, think it’s besides the point and his rationale here was goofy. His Austin coronavirus bat comment alone...

I know someone who still cant smell that is convinced she wont be able to give birth if she gets a vaccine

It might be a little hard to find, given the number of people in entertainment who are secretly pieces of shit.

I say this because they make a point to say “Capitol” police . Look at today's report. They are blaming them. They have no respect for them.

It’s not *quite* accusing someone of Nazi sympathies because they once owned a VW Beetle made in the ‘70s, but it’s only a step or two removed from it.

“In his defense, Lindell has attended RGA conferences as recently as winter of last year—thanks to support from our previous Asshat-in-Chief—where he was encouraged by fellow asshats to run for Asshat of Minnesota”

“Look at this guy, he’s so fat he hasn’t seen his dick since the 80s”
