You know, give you a great example. A person who—Ronald Doornink was our president—had been visiting a Walmart, saw Guitar Hero flying off the shelves. [He] came in one day and had a guitar, and we saw it and we asked him what it was. The next thing, we got engaged in discussions to acquire Guitar Hero

My lease is up in December, I guess GM is out of the running.

Wait, so Tucker is starting a podcast?

Staying elected is the long-term plan. You can’t fleece the population and line your own pockets by getting voted out....

Nate stuff. His arc has just been weird and disjointed. Are we to believe he didn’t know what a bad person Rupert was before?

Nate was one of the first characters the show displayed, I still don’t understand why there is such an insistence on dismissing the plot line that he been there since Ted and Beard stepped on the pitch in the first 10 minutes of the first episode.

Her inability to look at it from a PR rep perspective made me think of the Mike Tyson quote. “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth

Yeah, I get that. Just doesn’t make sense story wise.

I agree with your point, maybe it’s me, but this time around I attribute it less to hubris and more to stupidity.

Still disappointed in how Gideon was handled. They made him a buffoon for the last two episodes, committing the cliche cardinal sins of any generic bad guy.

I don’t think you have to worry. Rebecca’s subtle dig at Roy that she’s going “somewhere that believes they deserve her” feels like her telling him he made a mistake. He may come around to that in the next few episodes.

I think it was absolutely the “we made a serious connection” implication. I don’t think they would push that kind of storyline this late in the game and they made a point of showing him, cover her up and give her privacy to sleep.

Try to pay off all the subtle threads you’ve been spinning for two years to tell the story you wanted to tell?
