What’s the story behind “balls to the wall?”
You ain’t never lie!
At least you were a regular commenter on VSB with the same name here. My disqus name is different than my Kinja name, and I was only an occasional commenter on VSB, so there’s no hope for me over here.
I was going to riot if Back that Azz Up wasn’t #1!! I was born and raised in the South. Whenever the first chords for this song came on, everyone got up, mid conversation and made their way to the dance floor. Now that I’m older and live in CA, I don’t see the same rush to get to the dance floor. I don’t know if it’s…
As an old, what is the #maskoffchallenge?
I get annoyed at pretty much any commonly incorrectly used or spelled grammatical errors, but I’d disagree with “they literally sound like the word you are trying to use.” With ‘loose,’ there are other English words that sound similar like moose and noose, but not so much with ‘lose.’ I’m very likely missing some…
This is infuriating. Especially because the foster care system is hard on children. It’s hard on children who actually should be in it because they legitimately come from a dangerous household, and it’s a whole other level of hard on children who shouldn’t have been removed in the first place. Are you equally annoyed when people complain that they have a “cold” because the hundreds of different strains cause the common cold?
I think you misinterpreted her. Imagine she started that sentence with “Most people think...” and you’ll get the concept she was trying to put forth.
I was searching for this comment. I didn’t want to post it because I’m stuck in the greys, but I was hoping someone else would point out that glaringly wrong description.
After public records request, the video was released by the Orlando Police Department...
That’s exactly the point.
Right. I had an immediate reaction to that comment. My niece (now a year and some) was born at 23 wks and spent her first 6 months of life in the NICU. To the extent that can be tested so far, she’s good on all fronts. Sure, she may have some vision or hearing issues that may crop up down the line, but she’s…
I just hope to never be in a situation like this. Nothing seems like a right answer.
