Great documentary! I’ve been a long time Nina fan, and I learned so much more about her from the documentary. Plus, as far as documentaries, biopics, etc go, I’ll support it if her daughter supports it. her daughter supported the documentary and won’t touch the biopic with a 10 ft pole. That speaks volumes.

I think you’re confused, and probably should work on reading comprehension. Yes, I brought up ‘imitation’ because the tweet said imitation. My point being, the issue with the tweet was that Lululemon said that Beyonce’s line was an imitation of theirs. Somehow you gathered from that that I believe Flow Bee called…

But they weren’t pointing out similarities, especially with the second sentence (that you just mentioned) they’re pointing out that she’s copying Lululemon. It’s not “hey, we’re so alike!!” it’s “hey, she liked us so much she wanted to be us.”

It’s the ‘imitation’ part. If Lululemon was the only brand to ever sell yoga/active-wear, and Beyonce came around, then sure, we can call it imitation. Buuuuut, Lululemon is far from the only or even first company to sell active wear, so how exactly is Beyonce imitating them?
