Here is a fun little quirk. When temperatures are below freezing and you start and turn off a late 90's through mid 2000's BMW 6cyl. before it has a chance to warm up. The crank case vent system (yes even the cold weather one)will push a substantial amount of oil into the intake manifold. How much oil you ask? Enough
