Ford should concentrate
On
Communicating with
Us customers they’ve been
Silent with regarding some of their

Really expensive hot hatches which
Suck coolant and blow headgaskets.

You know, get one product right before rushing out anymore.... sales might not do so well if the new would-be buyers happen to google Ford

Hopefully it’s a Transit Connect ST with center exhaust, snowflake wheels and 4 Recaro bucket seats inside.

question is...why start with a raptor...which is an expensively modified F150....and then take off all of those expensive modifications only to add others....
Why not just *start* with a standard F150 and skip the middleman?

To be fair this is a more reliable form of transportation then an R56 (also similarly likely on fire).

The check engine light never sets on the British empire.

So instead of doing anything worthwhile...they Union Jacked off (I’m a child).

Ja, zie new mini ist zupfer British!

I really like this trend at CES this year where there’s a physical/mechanical privacy shutter over the camera lens. It’s such a small thing but it’s also such a nice-to-have thing that I’m surprised manufacturers haven’t incorporated it sooner.

Bike tech keeps pace with cars? They still sell bikes with carbs brand new at dealerships and traction control is only available on high end stuff. ABS is just now getting rolled out on cheap models and is still optional even sometimes at the high end.

Beat me too it. Bike totally bogs it off the line, which is kinda sad/pointless for something with launch and wheelie control, as it’s not like you’re going to flip it over backwards.

Pretty crap start from that bike. Most 600cc bikes can get into mid 10s in quarter mile. Glad they did a rolling test too.

Mostly looks like it came down to the car being easier to launch, not necessarily faster. Bike rider looked like they took it a bit easy off the line to not risk crashing.

I believe you’re mis-interpreting the point as much as they are. While spinning wheels certainly generate “traction” better stated as friction, their point is that while spinning your tires on that surface at that rate, you’re generating almost no friction and thus the assistance is nearly meaningless.

Your argument

And here’s to all the “Headline is misleading as fuck” crowd.

In all fairness... headline is “

It’d be more impressive to see a Model 3 roll off the assembly line on time.

With all 4 tires of the Tesla spinning the whole time, you’ll pardon me if I don’t exactly believe the semi was getting much help...

I’m not that surprised. The Stig was faster around Monza in a Cayman S than Hammond in a Huayra...
