Well you are severely limiting yourself with these aggressive restrictions on how someone can be a “legitimate” comedian. I think if you like comedy you might be surprised at the talent on the east coast.

I saw him headline in Boston on New years and he had to create a second spot at the Wilbur just to cater to the demand. Is Boston big enough? He’s in shows and movies obviously this is why you are venting here.

As maybe one of two in this vocal minority I’d say avclub doesn’t need to post anything on Pete Davidson because everything is negative and biased. If the vocal majority doesn’t want to read it and the fans don’t want their shit angle on him then I think we can agree avclub is just trolling it’s readers.

His career is here today gone tomorrow is maybe where I’m just trying to say his background doesn’t reflect your sentiment. You also say you haven’t seen anything outside of SNL so then why are you making these statements?

I guess I see Pete as someone who has been putting his time in the Long Island standup and got some attention a few years ago which resulted in SNL. I’m not sure I want to defend his status on SNL but I know you are wrong for the reasons you are saying he is no good.
