Full size pickups. I wouldn’t hate them as much if people were honest about why they bought theirs. No, Jim. You’re not using its payload capacity to its fullest extent. You’re not trailering something every week. Stop lying to yourself. You wanted the biggest, most opulent, most American thing on the road. That’s a

The Mustang name was already sullied by the Mustang II ages ago, I think they should’ve released a whole slate of alt-Mustangs with similar design cues. Mach-E, a sport-hybrid sedan, a Bronco-base with Mustang trimmings, and an EV Mustang shooting brake.

It said “irrational” hatred. Hating on these is totally rational.

These two fucking things and everything else built on their platforms. I am not kidding when I say they make up at least a third of all vehicles in the state of Ohio. They’re so numb, dull, and lifeless, that every single person who drives one is in a constant half-lucid state with no self-awareness. Also every

Can’t believe there are all these replies and no one has mentioned 3 row CUVs.

Nissans and Infinitis. I see one on the road, I keep my distance. Obvious reasons.

“Luxury” half-ton, full-size, crew-cab, short-bed pickup trucks. They’re just large, upscale cars with impractical “trunks” and way-too-high step-in heights. Plus, their MPGs are the same as sedans that they’re allegedly replacing.

I too share the Wrangler hate. I don’t get these vehicles outside the extremely specific use case of off-roading up cliffs or whatever. And even then, I think an older Toyota 4runner is a better choice because it will off road and still do other stuff. Wranglers are expensive one trick ponies. Nothing wrong with a one

It’s a nice-looking hatchback and I think the interior is interesting. But that fuel economy doesn’t impress me.

If Buick could combine this motor with a hybrid system that functions similarly to my wife’s Sportage hybrid (i.e. throw in another 40 hp or so when you’re trying to get off the line quickly and increase mpg) I think they’d have a real winner. As it is, the largely female demographic that currently buy Buick will

For a 3 cyl car, that 28/32mpg rating is rather underwhelming.

And the really sad thing is GM actually had/has a decent hybrid powertrain... the ‘Voltec’. They had a cheaper non-plug version of that powertrain in the Malibu a few years back.

136 hp, 2WD and 32 mpg highway seems pretty sad, but I guess it isn’t too far off from the competition.

But was it really a Canadian Bear if it didn’t continue to apologise for the mess it made even as it left?

That is how you get diabeartes. They're gonna cut your paws off.

Its a travesty that the US doesn’t get the yellow that was used on the debut car.

Add in the GR Corolla’s six speed and I’d buy it in a heartbeat

Eh?

Anyone that says “V4" when referring to their inline-4 engine.
