I would be shocked if this isn’t AWD. AWD sells cars anywhere that it snows and it would make it different than Veloster N.

This or a CX-30? I’m actually leaning towards the Kona on this one, seems more geared towards fun.
But it is directly. You live here, on this planet, with the rest of us. It’s ok if you need a truck or use it constantly for truck things, but it’s also important to understand your vehicle is creating more polluting and waste than an average car. More oil, more fluids, more brake dust, more tires, it all adds up.
Yes, it’s called civilization and empathy. Strange that you consider it a detriment.
You live in a society, in a civilization, with other people. Your actions have an effect on those around you and vice versa. It is someone else’s business what you drive because you are driving in a shared society. Failing to understand that your actions impact others is not something to be proud of.
It’s because they think it’s profitable. It’s really just lack of empathy on their part. Empathy goes both ways. Not only do they not understand that it’s a full, living, breathing, thinking human on the other side of the transaction, they also lack the ability to understand that this could affect them negatively after…
That’s awesome. I know I’d personally be more interested in an ID3 than a ID4 but after doing some research last night, the only thing I don’t like about the ID4 is that I have to get a loaded model in order to get a red exterior lol. Other than that it looks like a winner.
Really? It looked significantly smaller in the pictures so joke’s on me, I didn’t even bother looking at dimensions lol. I’m genuinely interested in the ID.4 now. Hopefully I can test drive one soon.
Must be. Those two are very similar in size.
I didn’t think it would take up so much space, but you’re probably right. I just looked up the trunk of the ID3 and it is really tiny for that segment too.
Seems like it, but the ID.3 is Golf sized. I wonder what’s taking up all that space?
I think the fun, second car, EV convertible market is a good one to tap. If you want a fun weekend car, 150 - 200 miles of EV range is plenty and why not make it a convertible too?
I think you’re on to something with this. EVs keep pushing toward family haulers and that causes people to complain about range, cargo, etc. While they shouldn’t stop that push, an EV convertible positioned as a second fun car that doesn’t need oil changes, gas, or typical ICE maintenance is a great sell.
Replacing a Prius with an EV is a shockingly low increase on overall cost to own/run. I was crunching the numbers on my last vehicle purchase (fall 2020) and when you factor what a Prius costs (or even a Prime) vs an EV (not to mention used models) it’s insane how long the breakeven is.
Can confirm, all the Arteons around me have $8-9k on the hood.
