I really was only half joking. I fully expect a GLC and GLE Coupe Cabriolet, maybe even a GLA if the first two really sell.

To clarify, this will be on the new TNGA platform or Lexus equivalent? I can’t remember if that was said earlier or I made it up in my head.

Yeah, what’s with that yellow circle?

Oh yeah, totally agree. I always go in with my own financing, but the dealers have always beaten it for me.

Oh yeah, it’d be the perfect dad trim Mustang.

Here come the cabriolet crossovers! A vagabond truly ahead of its time!

Aw man! I was secretly hoping it was going to be a King Ranch Mustang! What else could I possibly drive to the Texas Roadhouse!?

I never budge on color for this reason. I did it once (of my own accord the salesman didn’t pressure me at all) and I regretted it. The right color combo exists somewhere, if the sales man wants the sale he’ll figure it out.

As someone who used to be a banker, the rate you’ll get at the dealership from the same bank may be much lower than what you got sitting in front of the banker. When I did the occasional auto loan, I never saw anything under 5% and most of the time it came back 9 or 10 % but the bank I worked at often had 0.9% or 1.9%

Nothing more than a young Hyundai salesman telling me and my friend that a base 2013 Elantra makes 220hp from it’s NA 2.0L I4. Yeah, I actually laughed at him and pointed to the window sticker that said “147hp” and we left.

Hahahaha, and of course Lexus does it properly! That’s why people buy them!

Is it weird that I get excited when there’s a car with a proper alpha numeric name? The IS350 is technically correct as well.

This is definitely the last of it’s breed. A NA V8 RWD compact sport sedan? Where do I sign up? I hope I can get one new and just drive it, love it and never sell it.

I can just imagine any sunset or sunrise will be unbearable and anytime the roof is open when the sun is overhead. Just, all the glare.

Yeah, this is a pretty good car spec wise plus Toyota reliability? Instant future classic.

Yeah, if it comes in a real red that’s a solid win

The industry answer is that it’s easier to update because they don’t need to have a whole new dash design made, just switch out the screen itself. In practice, yeah it doesn’t look very good.

How is that center screen going to do against sunlight glare? Seems like the perfect angle to get washed out a lot.

I’m getting Delta Integrale vibes and I dig it

That’s a great point. GM is definitely stupid for thinking it was a remotely good idea and the feds are equally stupid for agreeing.
