Is it weird that I get excited when there’s a car with a proper alpha numeric name? The IS350 is technically correct as well.

This is definitely the last of it’s breed. A NA V8 RWD compact sport sedan? Where do I sign up? I hope I can get one new and just drive it, love it and never sell it.
I can just imagine any sunset or sunrise will be unbearable and anytime the roof is open when the sun is overhead. Just, all the glare.
Yeah, this is a pretty good car spec wise plus Toyota reliability? Instant future classic.
Yeah, if it comes in a real red that’s a solid win
The industry answer is that it’s easier to update because they don’t need to have a whole new dash design made, just switch out the screen itself. In practice, yeah it doesn’t look very good.
How is that center screen going to do against sunlight glare? Seems like the perfect angle to get washed out a lot.
I’m getting Delta Integrale vibes and I dig it
That’s a great point. GM is definitely stupid for thinking it was a remotely good idea and the feds are equally stupid for agreeing.
The GM backup lights are awful. Even when I owned a modern GM car I always thought something was wrong with the transmission or a sensor that the back-up lights are on. It’s also nerve racking walking through a parking lot and you see a GM with reverse lights on. I got a five year old, should I wait for the car or is…
They need to take a page out of the 911 playbook and make the V8 GT350 only. The normal Mustang and Mustang GT get whatever propulsion is compliant but the GT350 is like the 911 GT3 and it gets a NA V8 just like the GT3 gets a NA H6.
I think it should be changed for multiple reasons. Top of which is definitely the Cherokee people not being ok with its usage. Others have pointed out quite correctly as well that is really doesn’t fit Jeep’s branding anymore either.
That’s a great point, the Cherokee name is off brand for them compared to the rest of the line-up.
Wow, Jeep Pioneer actually sounds really good. I hope they go in that direction rather than the ridiculous pandering of “Liberty” and “Patriot”
It was everything I had not go full JCVD on him
Salesmen can tell who’s a mark and who isn’t. You’re going to have to work on your Clark Kent in order to get them to bite.
The closest story I have is with Ricart Ford in 2016. My wife and I were looking for a family car with our less than a year old daughter. The sales guy was nice but we didn’t care for the Fusion we drove and that’s fine, we were just test driving cars anyways. We were next going to go to the Ricart Mazda literally…
Sounds about right. I had a similar experience there too. They happened to have an orange Chevy SS and tried their worst to get me to even negotiate. Mine was easier though, I didn’t care for the car (it was an auto, not very exciting to drive slow, waay overpriced) but they still tried calling me over and over again.
I told my friends I was kinda bummed they didn’t get Robin Shou to be Raiden as an Easter egg or nod to the fans. I still hope he’s in the movie somewhere as a cameo lol.
It’s funny to me that no other major manufacturer has thought that maybe Teslas sell well because they look good. They aren’t Impala concept sexy but they aren’t eggs on wheels either.
