@mechimike: Corvairs are rad. They fixed the underhood lift problem with a simple airdam, just like anyone can with an earlier model. A corvair is what gave me my first "oh fuck this is awesome" moment, coming around a 90 degree corner in a friend's '66 in college.

By "Dart 383," he just may have meant a "mouse" SBC (383=400 crank in a 350 block) built with Dart block and/or heads? That would generally mean some good power potential...

Best of luck to these fine gentlemen and Jalopnik. I have to admit, I thought Jalopnik would never be the same when Johnny and Davey G left. It was still awesome, just different. This will probably work out much the same, the circle (jerk) of life continues...
