Yeah, but Subaru wagons are most likely to be purchased by women who like women ;)

Is it schadenfriday already?

If it was finished, with a V8 and a stick, maybe.

@Jim-Bob- 348k miles and counting: Just what I was thinking! I still think they're good looking, but the later cars were better in every way, and even fixed the front end lift issue.

My dad had two short wheelbase Dodge full size vans. They could haul a family, a trailer, two kids on sleds in the snow, whatever was needed. We saw no reason to get a minivan. I don't have anything against them, but I don't have anything for them, either.

I prefer the format of NWAA Smackdown. Drift, drag, and autocross scores all combined. Most importantly, the big trophy is given to the car club with the best party.

Maybe we should just have working solutions ready before the problem arises. You know, like figuring out how to plug a leak at 5k feet underwater before we drill there...

My dad taught me never to go to a dealership of any kind to buy a car, ever. I broke that rule once, and paid for it. I did have a good experience with a broker, but they're different.

@mark.dahncke: Good on you. My wife and I love our 2000 A6 2.7TQM, however we service it at an independent shop. The dealership is too expensive, and I know/trust the guy.

@Turkieshooter: Have you ever driven one? I got a 2.7 Twin Turbo for 12 grand. It's never seen the dealership since I've owned it. It can pace a 911 around a racetrack, and drive through 12" of fresh snow at 55MPH+. Just sayin. Buy one used, if ever.

@jalopnikfan: Technically, anyone who buys a NEW car is a douche...

@SinisterSaracen: I think what he meant was alot of german car buyers are obsessed with debadging and "upmarketing" their cars. It's true. That just makes it easier for folks like me, who like the nice clean look of factory wheels, but want something wider. My wife's C5 A6 2.7T looks great with some B5 S4 rims I

@an skyline: What you said. They're so worthless, I don't even use them on my wife's Audi. I also buy used stock rims off of people who have to upgrade to knockoffs and aftermarket "tuner" rims with huge lips and that "staggered" look to be cool. I doubt anyone wants to steal her S4 stockers with bits of curb rash,

That's fucked up. As a proud (used) Audi owner, I take my car to a certified indy shop. If it was still under warranty, I'd only take it to a dealer if I had to.

Let's see them swap some paint!

@Elhigh: Same here. I mean, my wife, not yours... ;)
