This oughtta piss off the royal rotarians something serious. I'm kind of interested to hear what a bridge ported electric motor sounds like at 9k rpms...

@Ben Wojdyla: Please, can we have a new MazdaSpeed Miata? A turbo would take it from badass to kickass, not that it really needs it to be fun.

@maximum_sarge: They have become quite butch. I've always liked them, but the new ones are bestest.

Damn, looks like the southern US with all that littering going on...

@$kaycog*5000*: I'm not sure I understand how the shocker would work that way...

It could use a slightly more aggressive roll camber curve for my taste, but I like it. Alot.

We've got an old David Brown diesel tractor on the family farm. I never knew the first four wheeled internal combustion vehicle I ever drove was an Aston ;)

OMG it's got a hemi!

@The Stig's American Cousin: So basically, you're saying they should have called the Americans on some tips to make slightly less power, with all the added weight of water cooling? Please, explain your logic.

@Brian: Cogito Ergo ZOOM!: Now is good. I don't like them on Audis so much. This coming from an admittedly biased fanboy, no less.

Is it even possible for a bolt of lightning to "miss?"

I'm actually suprised I saw this on the local news and Gizmodo before Jalopnik. My 'nikkas be slippin' yo.

@Arfdog: That is true. The big end is also where bad things tend to happen when the whole package isn't ready for 1200HP ;)

@Wolfy Kovac: No, it's $30 to enter your car in a rallycross. Lots of folks just use daily driver street cars. One or two rallyXes won't break anything that's well maintained, but alot of rallyXes will find weak parts ;) You can rent a rally car for a school for a few hundred bucks. I highly recommend this one in

Those seats look dangerous to the head/neck area.

You could have just left it at, "this is the dumbest product in history."

@nutbastard: AWD helps the launch, but doesn't make it faster on the big end...
