I was at that race. Of course I was young, this was what 2001? So I was 11. It is still a vivid memory. Everyone in the crowd pretty much wanted to see him win that race. The fireworks ceremony afterwards had fireworks in the shape of 3s. I am not even sure if that ended up on the live broadcast or not.
