500rpm isnt even idle speed for the engine...
I know I am late to the discussion.... but is there any explanation why the plane from which this video was shot is tailing the plane that lost comms with the ATC? Scrambling typhoons to intercept makes sense, but another commercial airliner tailing a “lost” airliner seems strange.
GTA is a garbage game anymore with how blatantly obvious it is that R* wants you to buy shark cards. Want to buy something cool? Either whore yourself out, grinding for money for weeks on end, or spend $20. Its pathetic and why I stopped playing. I had noticed this issue towards the end of my time playing, namely…
I bet youre the kind of asshole who camps in the left lane doing the speed limit just to piss off people behind you, then get mad when they pass you on the right.
To be completely fair, you’re not legally bound to passing on the left when traffic in the left lane is travelling slower than the speed limit. Also you’re an idiot.
Came here to say this. Pretty old news being rehashed as “new”. I would expect this much from sites like Buzzfeed, but FoxtrotAlpha? Come on....
Here’s where that falls apart - Safety regulations apply across the board, but how you choose to meet them ultimately determines how much your product will cost to the consumer. Want a cheap (sub $60k) performance car? Sorry but cheaper build processes and materials to meet those standards weigh a bit. Willing to pay…
Because safety regulations add weight unless you charge more to use lightweight components and build processes (carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium for example).
Drive anyways because #yolo
I can sympathize with their desire to be mobile, but there is a point where pride and self-sufficiency must be put aside for the sake of being a safe driver. Like it or not, we all drive 2 ton human-guided missiles that could kill anyone with wrong inputs, etc. This video is proof of just that - an elderly gentleman…
And there was much rejoicing among F1 fans.
I recently (a year or so ago) sold a car with a lein to a buyer who also was getting a loan to purchase it. It ended up being a super easy process in that his bank paid my bank directly to release the loan and the remaining balance of the purchase price was sent as a bank check directly to me. All we had to do prior…
So let me get this straight - He didn’t need those additional numbers. He just wanted them. He got the direct number he requested via the FOIA, but then decided “I want the rest of them”. When denied, he filed lawsuit. Then decided it would be fun to give a big’ol fuck you the gummbit by paying the sales tax in…
Here’s all I have to say re: Ford GT - their waiver required unanimous approval, and every team/manufacturer had their chance to say “no”. They chose not to for the good of the sport. Fans can get upset but the participants were OK with it. Unfortunately for them, the Ford GT is so damn good as a racecar that it had…
Let’s be honest here - the C7.R is just as modified as the new 911 RSR so they may as well be waiver racing too.
The divot replaced him, though.
I have to agree... my nephew plays football and he suffered a nasty injury to his ankle requiring reconstructive surgery to the entire thing, and he likely won’t be able to play another sport (he’s a 3 sport athlete) until early Spring. The worst part was that the injury happened on what looked like a perfectly normal…
Its on the MQB chassis which is shared with the Mk6 Jetta, Mk7 GTI, etc so this is why the car looks they way it does.
Must be a slow news day if we’re rehashing this story again.
