Let’s be honest here - while there are likely a lot of legal rules in play for what they can do/say in their show, they are likely just having fun with the idea and expanding it as much as they can for extra humor. Recall the one Ameican special they did for Top Gear where they were “required to not have fun” as means

I don’t think you understand drones and what he was doing with them very well...

I’ll be shocked if this car ever sells.

Yup. I just had an eargasm.

Ft. Whaley has been the home of H2Oi for the last 4 years, so I am not sure where you get the idea he “keeps getting pushed out of venues”. Even then, the reason he left the racetrack was due to a change in ownership and operation which turned the facility into a daily operating slots casino, thereby making it next to

Wow... would have never imagined that comment would have been liked so much and garnered a COTD, but here I am. Truthfully I feel a bit strange since I’m mostly a lurker but I appreciate the kind words.

If you’re willing to put up with the traffic, the 2-step, the stupidly impractical cars on the strip... there’s a lot of awesome stuff to see. GTGs happen outside of the city these days and you get to see a lot of cool hardware that you probably only ever see online (some you may have never seen before). The show

I think I’ll whip up a few for next year. It’s by far the best thing I heard all weekend, and that includes the glorious roar of a V10 Audi R8.

Its unfortunate but a nature of the social-media driven car culture most were there as a result of. There are still a lot who come for the show and do nothing to get ticketed/impounded. It may seem rare, but they exist. Would be awesome if some some attention was given to those people who are the core enthusiasts of

I wish 45th/Taphouse could find a better way to be open to visitors to come hang out instead of shutting it down entirely to non-patrons. I understand their concerns but this past weekend, even on the busiest night, I never saw the lot more than 1/4 full. There must be a happy medium somewhere.

Couldn’t the same be said of those who habitually speed? Breaking the law doesn’t change based on what law you’re breaking.

Theres a lot of double-standard righteousness around here from both the writers and commenters alike. I recall an article not too long ago (maybe a year or so) that lamented the apathy towards the stance scene, calling it just a different form of automotive customization and culture than whats considered the norm.

As someone who yearly makes the trek from Ohio to Ocean City for H2Oi, there are a lot of things I feel compelled to shed light on for the sake of not only clarity, but hopefully some productive thought that might help things going forward.

That actually makes it seem as if the leak isnt nearly as big as it sounds. Not to trivialize the issue since its a BIG issue to be leaking gasoline at all, but this puts it into perspective that they seem to have caught the leak before it could do a LOT more damage.

GT racing isn’t a fair fight when you compare the chassis that are currently being used. You have a Ford GT, C7 Vette, Porsche 911, Ferrari, etc. These are racecars that are based entirely on the roadcar, modified to meet safety and performance specs. Essentially, they’re the most performance-oriented trim package of

01 Audi S4... In the midst of a maintenance overhaul and a full performance upgrade

You got it all twisted...

Seems accurate.

At what point did we give up the rationale that a coupe = 2 doors? Are we just calling things whatever we want these days?

Your embarking down a very difficult road to manage with that idea. The problem? Not all cars are created equal, and the pricepoint which they are sold at does not directly correlate to their track performance. Take for example the C7 Z06 which costs $79k MSRP. That car laid down a 6:59 lap at the nurburgring, which
