It’s easy.
It’s easy.
Honestly, his overly calm and dry voice-over works really well for me. I also appreciate that he doesn’t just shit all over the bike at the end and is even a bit positive.
notoriously rust prone aluminum
I’d happily sacrifice some bed strength to avoid this:
What test can we think up that the vast majority of truck owners would never do, that would exploit a weak point in their technology while making our product look good and look cool on TV? Sharp triangles and landscaping blocks being dropped from over the bed? - run with it.
People who are trying to prove that "STEel'S BEttEr thAn AluMINuM!!!1!!!" :)
Especially with no bed liner.
Ah, so I guess I won’t throw cement bricks into the bed of my aluminum F-150. Not that I did such things anyway. Heck, I’m not sure if anybody does that. The folks who tend to treat their trucks that way tend to not give a rip what happens to the thing anyway... I’ve seen plenty of all steel truck bodies with no end…
Hey Chevy, be careful of past marketing ideas contradicting the present/future...
Who the fuck drops a load of landscaping blocks into their truck bed from 5 feet above the bed in the real world? This is how you break all the landscaping blocks you just bought and thus have to go buy them again.
But really, when has GM ever faced consequences for stupid past decisions and resistance to new technology?
Reminds me of the time we won the “Best Christmas Display” award for our city. We entered in as class 256th so there were only 3 houses competing in that class, with the other two of the families being Buddhist. Everyone was super impressed because we pulled off that win with a working mans budget.
Oh wow, what an amazing accomplishment. Winning a class with 4 trucks total, while two of them were toyota entries and one other was driven by a 77 year old man. Fucking lol!
Tacoma, better everything? Except travel, clearance, power, torque, interior room, towing capacity, payload, technology, capability...
Oh Nintendo. This should be a game that releases on the 3DS as well and should be downloadable on either system after paying for it once. I have no problem supporting Nintendo and paying for old games but when there are so many barriers to enjoying it the way I want it becomes difficult to support them at that point.…
Someone is obviously a fan of 5th Gear......
Go away
If you’d actually even read the “Toyota’s 2015 Baja Truck Parts List” in the article you linked to, you’d see that your precious Tundra example is far more modified than this 2nd gen Raptor is.
Everywhere else on Jalopnik, the answer may always be Miata. But here, in Ebay Challenge Land, the answer is always W220 S600.
I’m gonna go ahead and say that also describes a good chunk of [insert German performance manufacturer]’s buyers too.
