I half-assedly looked into 4runners a couple of years ago. In many cases they’re even more expensive to buy used than a Tacoma with comparable miles.

Wranglers, Tacomas and 4Runners*
I cut my kitchen sponges and only use one half at a time to make the pack last longer.
So many people I know have bought Wranglers, driven them for 75k miles, and traded them in for almost equal to what they paid for them. Wranglers and half ton trucks seem to appreciate for some reason.
they literally showcased it at the live event. like 0-60 sprints and everything.
It has a 200kWh battery. The P100D has a 100kWh battery. Add to that the fact that the Roadster is probably built to be lighter (excluding batteries) and more aerodynamic, I can see how the range is almost doubled.
I can’t believe Elon just pulled a “One more thing” so nonchalantly.
THE MAD MAN.
You’re part of the problem.
I’m conflicted. On the one hand, loot boxes like BF2's are a predatory affair. On the other, I also paid full price for Overwatch and it tries to sell me stuff as well.
I was never particularly a fan of this car back when it was new, but it really has aged well. Compared to the hideous things Lexus puts out now, it’s downright gorgeous. Their newer offerings look like this car had one botched plastic surgery after another, becoming a caricature of what they once were.
Your neighbor is fucking cool.
I wonder if my neighbor with a Viper and a Hellcat has one of these on order...btw he DDs a 72 Beetle
Jeep is missing out on a monumental branding opportunity. They should call whatever nav system they’re using the Jeep Exploration System, or JeepES.
There has only been one vehicle I got rid of that I hated to see on craigslist. The new owner hadn’t done anything to it. In fact, that was the problem. It was still in my driveway. He hadn’t even hauled it away yet. It didn’t bother me that he was trying to get a few dollars more than scrap for what I gave him for…
I agree with this so much.. I saw my old GTi several months after I’d traded it in.. some teenager had it, there was a big scuff on the back bumper and the inside looked like a Snoop Dog concert green room.. Not once in 8 years had I even eaten in that car, let alone smoked(Anything) in it. Broke my heart.
I’m patiently waiting on the Wrangler based truck launch and reviews. At the moment, the diesel Colorado ZR2 is looking like the right fit for my needs/wants, but I’d like to see the Jeep offering (hopefully in diesel form) before taking the leap. I’d also be willing to bet that the resale value on the Jeep will…
...I don’t think he “burned his own car” - that’s a pretty ridiculous statement to make. I don’t see how any of those things could start a fire, there have been aftermarket exhausts for the GTR for a decade now, none of them are out there causing fires. I’m interested in seeing why you think wheels, tires, brakes…
his daily driver, which only had basic bolt-on modifications—rotors, calipers, suspension parts, wheels and tires, exhaust—and a mostly stock engine)
This was how the world worked in the 1920's and the 1890's too.
