I was 6 when these came out, was too small IMO to understand all the vehicles out in the world. Its funny because I own a 94 Supra TT 6 speed now (have for 8 years now and will never get rid of it).

HAHAHA ya.... NO! They can fuck right off with that. Now I really wont consider them for our next vehicle.
No worries! Ive got that covered! She will not get away haha. Getting my grandmas 2 Karat diamond from her to use in a new ring set.
Heated seats?! That’s old news! Try a Heated Steering Wheel! A MUST HAVE for me from now on... My Focus ST has this feature and its amazing. First I tried it was on my parents Lexus GS350. Was surprised to see the ST came with that feature too when I bought it.
I should of posted my 180sx with the article. My bad! Here it is.
Honestly, I would never of thought of it being that bad! I’ve never seen a sludge rusted fuel tank before on any of my old cars so It was unexpected to me. It ran great for 2 tanks and then it bogged out on me. I would get photos of inside the tank if possible from any dealer now. Its not hard to pull a pump and most…
I think the hardest part is the rarity and scarcity of parts. An old car in America is easy to get parts for usually, while an old car from japan is very difficult.
No mine is Gold with the 180sx logo on the back in the middle. I do want the updated taillights with the rps13 middle though!
I had taken it apart and rebuilt it, cleaned gears, shafts, re greased up like factory. But I didn’t take the physical motor apart. Worked better but started to fail again. I think its weakened overtime and taken that little motor apart, that goes beyond my repair skills.
Yep! This is one of my many 20+ year old cars in my garage that I have restored/built up. However, In my state (Colorado) the rust is usually not bad and parts usually last longer lol.
I didn’t think about the little things before I bought it. But that’s okay, the car was cheap and I am fortunate to have funds and time to do whatever I need to, to fix the cars. I just want to warn people buying these cars to remember these cars were on an island for 25 years, they will have issues of some sorts.
Japanese Classics Customer here, got a 91 180sx SR20det all original, low mileage, No rust outside or underneath. Clean example inside and out and gorgeous car overall. The perfect time capsule IMO.
I personally disagree with the article. Its not about HP numbers. Its about power to weight ratio. That’s the figure to find. 300hp in a 5000 lbs suv is not the same as 300 hp in a ft86.
Have you ever taken 1 or 2 people out of a car and can tell its faster? Now imagine 2000 lbs difference when comparing SUV to cars…
So its basically turned into a 7 series?
96-02 4Runner. You can get them easily under 10k with decent miles 100k-120k. And they will last forever with cheap replacement parts! You wont need to worry about repair bills with a 4runner until 250k
I would watch Formula Ultimate 1 or as it would be called FU1
I really like this vehicle. My parents picked up a CPO 14' GS 350 AWD for basically 30k off sticker, with only 20k miles total. Has the 100k warranty and has been a great car for them for 2 years now. I really enjoy driving that vehicle sometimes too.
I feel I have a decent story.
Haha my friends call it “dirt color”
For reference, my 1991 180sx. I wish they were type x taillights though. One day I’ll upgrade them.
