If you couldn’t afford to pay cash for it, could you really afford the car? When buying a new car on credit you are paying WAY more than it’s worth... You’ll take a hit when you drive it off the lot, and you’ll take another hit monthly on interest. Not only will you be paying interest, but the new car will deprecate

I agree - have a credit card but use it like a debit card. Have a savings account for all of your “Credit card money” and never spend more on the credit card than you have in the account to pay it off. Pay it off monthly.

Is NO credit the same as BAD credit? From a regulation standpoint I’m not sure. People SAY no credit is worse than bad credit because you have no history - which is to say building credit with no credit is difficult. You can still mortgage a house with NO credit through the traditional underwriting process - or so I
