Hey Tom, I think it’s great you are covering stories like this. I know many people who have disabilities or have physical limitations. It’s more common than people realize, so exposure like this is fantastic.

If it’s anything like the 1st gen SV650, top case and side case mounts will be scarce soon. I had a hell of a time finding the top case mount for my Curvy since Givi had stopped making them. This was back in 2012, making the bike about 13 years old. The 2nd gens are getting to that point too, granted, I think there…
Same...I think about it, but nothing comes of it. Adding another bike to the garage is a more likely (and satisfying) answer!
Shhh...stop telling everyone how good the SV650 is. It’s not, until I stop loving them!
Gah, I miss mine. So. Bad.
I’m glad this car is getting some love. My dad bought one of these (in the OZ flavor) when I was in high school. I was a responsible son, so I autocrossed it!
I was wondering about the matte black model with straight door handles too. They look like they are from the Model S, so it could be an earlier prototype.
It’s funny how this article came at a time where I am losing sleep over what car to replace the BRZ with. My situation...I bought the BRZ 2.5 years ago and fast-forward to today, and I am married and have a child on the way.
Not at all. I think you see more FR-S’s on the road due to price. Depending on where you live and the demographics, I think the options that came with the BRZ in Limited trim are attractive (most notably the heated seats, the Alcantara seats, HID lights, fog lights). For more enthusiasts, the base car was enough.
