I hate to defend Snyder but Shanahan is a lying rat bastard. He took Snyder's money knowing exactly who Snyder was: a meddlesome owner who loves to pall around with star players. Shanahan is not some neophyte who's clueless. So why take the money, draft 2 freaking QBs in the first round and then turn around to whine

Well played, man.

First, it's "when" not "if" you run it up the middle 'cos that's all they do in the NFL. Second, only the worst defenses do not expect a draw play on 3rd-and-long. Yeah I know college defenses suck but will it kill NFL coaches to take risks once in a while?

I would love to see this same chart for college coaches. I swear they take more chances and are more creative. Also, on 3rd-and-long every single NFL coach is pathologically programmed to run a draw play straight up the middle for little gain in what I call "start warming up the punter" play.

I was fired by the Man City Board of Directors for the same thing. To make it worse, I wasn't swearing....it was background noise from my kids playing in the room.

If this was the NBA, Donald Stern will have immediately levied the fine. It's been almost 2 weeks and the NFL is still deliberating. This is nonsense. Why is the coach on the field? While we are at it, what's with basketball and football that coaches routinely stand on the field? You don't see this in other sports

Arsenio Hall has a show?

Isn't that a false start by the holder?

You know what? I don't care any more. I am done blaming politicians for being fucking dicks. It's time for the electorate to do something about it. You don't like your governor punishing you by refusing free money from the fed govt? Do something about it. But I've stopped giving a shit about you. Stop voting for

Even though I liked your comment, oil industry profits are never too low. It's just not high enough.

oh shut up. Because this particular flop negatively affected the USMNT. How you watched an NBA game recently? They flop all over the place...and not just the Euro players either. And what's David Stern's response? A $5000 fine.

This is what happens when you hire a college coach for your NFL team. Especially when he's a well known control freak and can't even win football games.

Why don't leagues reveal the exact drug a player tested positive for? Because you'll have to be a moron to use an unapproved drug, players will still rather look foolish than be labeled a cheater. If the NFL wants to stamp out cheating, reveal the drug tests and let's see how Brian Cushing can say he's not a PED user.

Could it have happened to a more deserving person?

Even if he's lying about being hungry, so what? What kind of f**ked game is the NCAA running? Everybody involved is making money except the players. For that they get an education. College tuition is not high enough to make the even close to be an even trade. And they can't even get enough meals per day? WTF!

Is that before or after the fat salaries given to the coaches?

You know people who say players shouldn't take money? Those people are either neophytes with no clue how big college football is or they are making oodles of money off the backs of these "students". If there ever was a victimless crime, this is it.

Yes poor decisions but I like that he owned up to the mistakes. How many NFL coaches will resort to nonsensical coach-speak at that point? To this day, Shanahan never apologized for telling us John Beck is an NFL caliber QB. And how many times has Andy Reid called an incomplete pass on 3rd-and-1 with Shady in the

Their newspapers are in color?

Of course it's bad. The team is going to be a circus but that's no reason to risk Sanchez in the last 11 minutes of a meaningless game. Heck, direct snap it to a 4th running back to end the game. Even Rex Ryan, who typically is never at a loss for words, couldn't explain the rationale. It just made a very made
