Maybe they wanted a hatchback specifically....Si only comes in coupe and sedan. And tbh I love the 10th gen Civic, but the Sedan, in Si form looks awful. The overhangs with the sport bumpers are HUGE and ugly and the coupe is the only one I would buy. 

Who in the world would buy this over a comparably equipped Elio for less, you mean.
