Having flashbacks of getting high and thoroughly enjoying the oddly tedious yet satisfying aspect of Mass Effect 2's planet mining.

I just found 3 too much. Too much what? I dunno. Like it was self-aware but leant in too far? Maybe? That doesn’t really encapsulate my emotions on the game, but it gets in the ballpark I think. I can’t really describe why I dislike the game. I’ve tried playing it when it came out and I was a kid, again when I was a…
I understand the preservation aspect of it, and it’s an important title.
This might be an insane thing to say, but since I started playing FF games in the early 90s, story has always been lower on the importance ladder than both gameplay and character design/aesthetics. The story could be improv and I wouldn’t care if the characters are cool and the gameplay is good.
Obviously I appreciate…
I realise this is a simplistic/obvious take, so much so it delayed me getting around to writing this, but I also figured it was worth putting on record anyway, so here it is. Of course this doesn’t apply just to PC games, or even video games, it’s something affecting our daily lives across most industries, but PC…
This man committed a crime and confessed to it. There’s no debate there, and he served an appropriate amount of time behind bars.
The Reaper Terminator (RT-800) is a really silly boss. But it’s a pretty fun fight.
Nope, you never play or dress like Sheik in OoT.
oh yes, a sort of adventure, but for Zelda. Yeah, a Zelda’s Adventure, if you will.
Anyone calling this DLC needs to play Majora’s Mask for goddam homework and turn in a paper why they were wrong tomorrow.
I simply can’t comprehend the logic of watching this trailer and still calling the game “DLC”.
Nintendo has seemed to hit a good spread of their potential customer base though. This trailer was for the lore and story heads. Last peek behind the curtain was for those who wanted to know how it all played.
Yo but when that saxophone kicked in?
Gamers aren't oppressed, but they *should* be.
Anyone who uses the term “woke” to downplay something has typically been unable to actually give me a definition of what the word even means. They just don’t like it, so therefore it’s “woke”.
This world is becoming dumber, I swear..
Oblivion would need a new engine remake, I think. The game itself feels like a Medievalworld module out of Westworld. It’s all very stiff, robotic, and game-y. Doing speech checks feels like I’m opening the robot’s front panel and twisting gears until it smiles.
You’re not wrong, but there’s a tonal dissonance when it comes to how urgently the main quest pushes you along, and it’s hard not to get swept up in that.
Hold up, are you saying no one in the US gives a fuck about Myanmar or the many other ongoing genocides??
I grew up in east block and can confirm they are being pretty satirical about the whole communism utopia. Whoever would want to “glorify USSR” would certainly not do it like this.
I can’t even do the dumb “I’m going to buy this garbage game just out of spite” thing that rightoids did with HP, even though doing the exact opposite of what the neoliberal-Ukraine-flag-emojis-who-only-care-when-white- countries-are-invaded crowd want is generally a good thing. Anyway, fuck NATO.
