Square Enix must have REALLY wanted out of the western game business, because $300 mil for those studios AND the IP is a fucking STEAL

When the stock market goes wild it's shut down to prevent heavy losses. Every supposedly free market is rigged.

It’s extremely easy to write about why those games are fun, Paresh.

Found the kool aid drinker.

Definitely not a game. Its a pyramid scheme that has game like functions but no one plays it for fun.

So someone got pissed that their blockchain investment isn’t profitable and the managers altered the blockchain directly just to keep them happy. Again. Hm. Almost like this whole idea of blockchain being a stable alternative to real-world currency is BS.

It’s only weird if you’re an american who is incapable of perceiving culture outside of monster truck rallies and a Halo campaign.

view Will Smith like I view Batman. I love Batman, but I am aware he would horrible company to hang-out with.

I was going for the latter!

If you thought the industry was hostile to journalists before, just wait until SNK starts inviting reviewers to their embassy in Turkey!

I don’t know that I’m with you there. The flat surfaces and chunky textures actually look really nice with the detail of a properly raytraced/pathtraced lighitng engine on top. I actually think raytracing does a lot less for modern games that already had very well art designed (but a lot more “fake”) versions of what

A shame. Does it have an Easy mode in case I get frustrated

After I beat the game, what stuck to me storywise was how chipper it could get. Even when the story veered so off course it almost gets into an saveable ditch, those times were plump with humor or reveled in its oddity. If anyone else finished, they’ll probably know what I mean when I talk about the game near the

In both games you can completely disregard PvP. Both have a single sidequest where a minimal amount of participation is required to finish them (like 3 invasions), but outside of that you don’t have to worry about anything unless you specifically choose to participate.

PVP isn’t as huge a part of the game as it sometimes seems. There was a ton of invasions going on when the game first came out, but by and large most of the unwanted pvp has died down. I’ve put 80 hours in to the game and can only think of 5 times I’ve been invaded, (there are scripted NPC fights that are called

I’m glad so many people like this game. We need more things to be happy about in this day and age.
