I’m glad Stanfield apologized but I’m more bothered some people find that Farrakhan is worth discussing. He’s just another flavor of conservative, reactionary religiousity that makes me glad I’m agnostic.

So shocked that a discussion about Louis Farrakhan would devolve into anti-Semitic garbage said no one ever.

It’s so weird that being antisemitic is the only type of hate speech where you’re immediately forgiven for a half-assed apology!

It’s incredibly bizarre to me how many people are actually defending this. People on twitter and reddit just keep saying “git gud” when someone brings it up. No one is asking for a quick save so you can reload when something goes wrong or anything, just a way to be able to take a break without fear of losing a bunch

If an African games company made 10 AAA games about various African warriors/heroes and then suddenly made a game with a white protagonist to sell copies/”pander”... I dunno.

The problem is they’re forcing whiteness. And have been for a long time. Forcing diversity isn’t the issue, diversity is just acknowledging the world we live in.

Way ahead of you, friend.

Step? No. Smother? Now we’re talking.

Kind of to add to the previous and to your comment about a strong woman making some uncomfortable, I think the reason why I’m annoyed about the constant “um stop” with Hades and Dimitrescu is that these are the things that people chose to be dicks and smartasses about in regards to sex.

That wasn’t the activity I wanted her to do with my face anyway.

I think it’s mixed with the fact that people can’t stop themselves from going “um, actually”, and here there’s little stuff to, well, actually correct, so it’s more about ruining people’s fun.

It’s utterly a losing battle, too. Trying to tell people not to get horny about fictional characters goes against the internet’s entire being, and it will reject that kind of prudishness like a bad organ transplant.

Can the internet stop trying to convince folks not to be horny about Dimitrescu?

*thinks it over for a second*

I’d like to differentiate most of the country apart from fucking Florida and Texas.

Backlog month? 2021 is my backlog year lol. With the exception of a few multiplayer games to hang out with friends, I’ve mostly stopped buying games to focus on cleaning out the log.

We also would’ve accepted:

You didn’t miss anything, and it really kills the entire point of the story if Deckard is one, but Ridley Scott is insistent that he was (contrary to the writers and Ford) and that was very clearly his intention with the origami so it’s hard to really say he isn’t. For 2049, whether he is or isn’t just flat doesn’t

This can’t be said enough. first of all, in the 80's pretty much every Latino character on TV or the movies was a drug dealer. Growing at that time, that’s all you’d see. And I don’t blame the actors, becuase they’re just making a living. but somehow Edward James Olmos managed to have this amazing career without

Adama was a Commander and later an Admiral, not Captain.
