Oh hell, I never even considered that. No, I definitely do not want that in my KotOR. Maybe this is just me being an old-fashioned kind of Bioware fan, but I much prefer the D20 influenced style to any sort of action RPG.

I didn’t love that part when I was 13 because I couldn’t really understand it. Now, almost 20 years later, it’s one of my favorite parts of the movie, even though I acknowledge how clunky it is.
Boardwalk is what I first saw him in. Definitely one of the most immediately memorable parts of the show.
Oh Lanky Kong, you were my favorite at least.
Oooh, nice one!
Oof, I did the same thing!
Well! I don’t have the time for 28 games nor the money to spend $20 on video games right now, but I might just have to figure out how to make it work, because this is a seriously charming idea.
My favorite Kotaku writer is leaving. I am saddened for us here but happy for you. Thanks for the great writing.
The laughing scene is great! I never understood how anyone could witness it in context and not be charmed and amused by it.
Just out of curiosity, which would you rank higher? As I said, I haven’t played too many FF games, so I’m curious if there are any you like better than X that I didn’t play, and thus should now check out.
I’m not a Final Fantasy fanatic, I’ve only played a couple, but from what I’ve played X is really my favorite. I don’t know how common that is—at the time it seemed that was a pretty unpopular opinion, but now that the game is 20 years old perhaps it’s been reevaluated? There’s some stuff in there that doesn’t work…
I just had the same reaction! I am such a dummy, wow.
Man, whatever you want to call it and whichever Asian country you find it in, congee is great! It doesn’t need adapting to western palates, western palates need to adapt to it. It’s so basic and simple and tasty.
You know, it’s funny. I do own a Switch, and I actually do get some good use out of it! It’s actually the only new console I’ve bought in a decade, preferring PC gaming. But I never use it in handheld mode. And I can’t explain why I don’t, but I just don’t seem to have the interest. So that’s a big part of the reason…
I think the Steam Deck is a really cool idea, and I hope it works out and is well supported. Personally, though, I prefer doing PC gaming on my PC (I barely even buy consoles at all anymore--other than my Switch the last one I had was my 360) so I don’t know that I would get a lot of use out of it. But I hope it’s…
I don’t 100% get it either, if I’m being honest, but I admire the dedication and the creativity it takes to do a lot of these things. That’s why I enjoy reading about it, personally, though others may have different and more thought out reasons.
These pointless and absurd self-imposed challenges are just the best.
Has anyone seen the Papers, Please fan film? That’s a really good short film also.
The motion controls are part of why I’m excited to finally play this one! I’ve always avoided motion controls, to the point that I never owned a Wii, because I’ve always been terrible with them (which is why I’ve not played Skyward Sword before now), but I’m excited to stop being a coward and give it a go.
This is honestly one of my favorite Archer episodes just because I love Bourdain so much. He’s really a lot of fun in it.
