Ok Mr. Kasavin but do you pet _all three_ of your dogs?

I am suuuuuper excited to play World’s End Club (though I’m more coming to it out of excitement that Zero Escape’s own Kotaro Uchikoshi wrote the scenario, so that game has big dream team energy written all over it) but I have no idea when I will find the time to do so. I’m also cranking through Avengers more out…
He got laid off.
According to his twitter, the union fought for him to be able to retain the IP, so yay for that.
Hahaha, good times with kids. This phase too shall pass. Hopefully you’re in one of those phases where your kid’s inbuilt survival mechanisms kick in once in a while and they decide to, like, make a genuinely funny joke out of the blue or do something obscenely cute to balance it all out.
Due to the still extant blue laws here in CO, we have a vibrant brewery/food truck scene that is still able to survive reasonably well on takeout beer and food orders. Just drive up, order your stuff, and sit in the car or keep your distance til it’s ready. Since we have a toddler, that’s pretty much been the flow of…
My spouse’s school is having kids attend 3 _100 minute_ classes a day. Half of that time is supposed to be instructional, the other half can be whatever, but the teacher is absolutely disallowed from leaving the stream. These are middle schoolers we are talking about. It is going to be a shit show.
Thank christ my…
Thank you again! I just tuned in and I am loving this run and runner.
Legendary.
Hooo boy the trials and tribulations of teachers. In the last 3 weeks my spouse’s direction from the district has changed radically (but thank god to our favor).
Initially, the plans were to start in phase 3 and my spouse would have to go in... At least the union got the teachers PPE?
THEN the administration back…
Thing are going pretty alright. Wrapped up a project I had been working on since January at work, and knocking out another small one for a product launch that is happening next week so overall a lot of the pressure is off. Just in time for the pressure of a bunch of other life stuff to ramp up but, whatevs, I’ll deal.
I’m gonna have to agree with Ethan on this one. That soundtrack is a part of my bones at this point. Though some of my runners up are that silly ass Copland-esque battle theme in BOTW, some of the score of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, and too much of the scores of many of the Katamari games for me to be able to whittle…
Yuuuup. To be fair, my PC gaming has similarly fallen off a cliff. For the last 6ish months, I’ve mostly been making sure everything works so my spouse could play the Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! beta. Buuuuuut I’m starting to get the itch to look into re-entering the VR fray to play Alyx but yeeeeeesh just setting…
I feel this comment in my bones. Any time my PC, TV, or receiver get a firmware update I can typically expect an hour or two of futzing around upgrading everything, messing with settings, and just generally clutching my head and softly weeping because I have a toddler and any barrier longer than 30 minutes pretty much…
Living that burbs life where there’s always some more shelving to put up or something to fix. Put up some storage for the garage this weekend and extended my sump pump outlet a few feet back because, in their infinite wisdom, the developer ran a swale through my front yard with the gutter downspout and sump pump…
I technically have... FFVII Remake, TLOU2, Tsushima, and Paper Mario in progress, but I see Mario continuing to run away with my time this weekend. It’s so bright and silly that it has felt like a really nice breathe of fresh air from *gesticulates wildly*.
I get that. My main arguments for Cars 2, which is not a particularly good movie, but is at least the one I almost look forward to parts of, are:
Took the words out of my mouth. Oceans 12 and Cars 2 (listen, I have a toddler, I’ve had to watch all of them a million times) are secretly the best, or at least most interesting, films in their respective trilogies that were particularly poorly received.
Ooof, hearing that about Mikado is a real bummer. Haven’t been since 2016, and no idea when I’ll get to return, but the prospect of losing a bunch of arcades definitely makes my heart hurt.
Well I was and am still super bummed that Powerpig (https://chrismcveigh.com/cm/welcome.html) couldn’t sell his independent sets any more once LEGO hired him, I’m hoping he had a hand in this set because his independent work was nothing short of incredible.
