Dontnod has yet to unequivocally and unqualifiedly break out, but I’ll be damned if I don’t love the certain something about their games. It’s more than being the sort of B to B+ games that they are (a tier of games that I’m always happy to see serviced), but there’s a subtle artistry or craft to them that has gotten

It’s worth noting that if you’re lucky enough to have a wired home, you can easily set up Google WiFi nodes to run wired as well, as long as you’re willing to relegate one to being directly connected to your modem so it’s upstream of all the mesh points. I know it’s not super common, but as someone with a wired house

I do understand where you’re coming from, but I also feel like Kirk’s rundown of similar games illustrates that the genre is pretty well serviced with comparatively innovative games. Or rather, I would argue that QD games do as much well and require as many concessions as anything else on the list, but have also

Good god, what planet am I living on that more than 0 people feel the need to go to bat for David Cage?! Dude has had consistent work for decades churning out the same hacky, awkward, mediocre, joyless QTE-a-thons, fosters demonstrably miserable working conditions for his employees, and yet is somehow treated with

What a delightfully appropriate post for today, the eve of the International Mr. Leather competition in beautiful Chicago, IL.

So I haven’t even started the second season, and I realize that there aren’t a lot, if any, choices when it comes to Western contemporary music steeped in Japanese culture, but am I correct in thinking that they’re sort of smooshing together a general pan-Asian-ness in the Shogun world if their maybe too clever

I think having a talking banana got them initial interest and developing a novel solution to a common problem got them coverage. Not so sure courting racist trolls is, in and of itself, a means to a lot of interest and coverage except for from other racist trolls... I mean, unless you’re already a super popular

Whew, good to hear. I dunno, I’m sure ideally jerks are relegated to the greys, but now and again somebody gets by and it’s just the worst. Since this particular person has a lot of the ratio happening, I gotta wonder if maybe they’re just boosting themselves. Ah well, at least I got to meet a good anime avatar person!

☑️ - Commentor is being idly shitty in the comments and insisting they’re right about their own misreading of the article.

So you’re proposing that this person knew or wanted this to happen.... so they could invest a lot of time and effort... into making a very robust filter to prevent this from happening? Why the mental gymnastics?

That’s how Destiny worked.

I will say this any time anyone even half mentions it, but the set design for Kick Ass was really spectacular. It was mostly in the background and inessential for anything in the film, but the bad guy’s suite had a (then) really interesting and respectable array of contemporary artwork on display.

If you’re in to Architecture sets, DO NOT SLEEP ON THE NEW GUGGENHEIM. It’s a super fun build (well, the final outer panels are slightly tedious, but they even mitigated that by splitting them up), is very structurally interesting, and the little taxis are darn cute to boot!

Nice, thanks for the heads up! I was reflecting on this and figured that it’d be waaaaay easier to design a consumer product that gets hot what with already having some well established, light-weight, relatively safe solutions for that sort of thing (e.g. hand warmers), so not a huge surprise.

One step closer to that beautiful dream...

Even then, and I can’t overemphasize this enough, you have to have concrete shipping plans in place by the time you launch, and if you don’t, that definitely falls into the incompetence bucket. This is what I do for a living, and it’s in our gol-derned introductory FAQ that if you’re figuring out fulfillment

As somebody who lives in a house with 9 foot tall doors, I now can’t help but notice how weird my doors look and how low the knobs are relative to the door’s size.

IIRC (and worth noting if I do in fact RC), he was the only non-Brit in the first Harry Potter movie.

Totally. I definitely left that panel being more critical and curious about quirky things in video games just being that way because: video games, which is a heck of a lot more than I usually get out of Q&As, even the good ones.

So, I’ve seen plenty of these sorts of question askers at PAX (My partner does talks there), but a few years ago we saw the one shining example of how that question can turn into a special moment.
