Does he? I think he assumes that some form of respect automatically comes with position, and that he can coerce the rest by force or delegation. But he chose some of the real scum of the earth to delegate to, and it seems like whatever interest he has in recognition is often superseded by an interest to make himself

Ridiculous as it is intended to be, I think MPG -> storage, horsepower -> CPU, 0-60 -> RAM is slightly less ridiculously strained. Storage space limits things, the CPU represents how fast it could process things in a perfect situation, and RAM is the key link in the practical application of processing power since it

Ethan Coen wrote a short story collection called Gates of Eden, and one of his stories includes a dude who (iirc, it’s been a long time) sizes people up as being worthless because they don’t wear socks with their loafers. The singular arbitrary focus of the whole sequence comes to mind every single time I hear Trump

I’ve seen it work in limited contexts with an appropriately plain or designy (i.e. not corporate shilling) shirt and a more casual blazer, like the jersey one Uniqlo sold a couple years ago.

2 things:

I swear to christ, his diction is some hellish mixture of David Foster Wallace and Coen brothers dialog with a dash of Pynchon’s unfollowable dream logic. Fixated, pathos ridden, and meanderingly nonsensical. We elected our very own King George III.

Jesus, he’s not happy with having one of the most troubled film developments in history, he needs to tackle games now?

Wait... do the hardware seams on the PS4 and Xbone really line up that perfectly?!

Yeah but the dinosaurs aren’t big enough.

This game deserve GOTY consideration for no other reason than when it says it has downloaded enough to launch, it actually means that. I played for a solid 45 minutes before hitting a wall.

As a silver lining, the Vice City run was a real treat and pinnacle of the form. Amazing execution, and the runner himself gave a great rundown of the glitches he was doing AND the game’s plot without missing a beat. He really proves that it’s possible to put on an interesting show, exhibit skill, AND maintain decorum.

If you live in a hub (like Denver), it’s a really cheap, incredibly short flight (barely longer than getting to the east coast). When I booked two Thanksgivings ago, they gave us an option to bid on effectively 1st class (the only difference was that we weren’t behind the special curtain). I think we got away with

The end result is that we didn’t build the transit infrastructure back then that we’ve ultimately ended up needing, but I’m glad the folks here in Denver shot them down in the 70s and will hopefully not to shoulder this bullshit in the future due to their petty grudginess.

I assume it’s sort of a take on Hard Off stores (which are discount used item stores).

Just had a new kiddo, so my time is a little limited, but by a long process I got to order an Xbox One S for effectively free, so I’m thinking it’s time to catch up with Gears of War 4 this weekend.

Damn, someone beat me to the Aphex Twin song.

I mean, No Man’s Sky is arguably a crafting/survival game lite.

I really hope he has invested it wisely and can rest on his laurels for a bit, or hell, even retire. 15-ish million after Valve is a hefty amount, but 4 years of crunch is really rough physically and psychologically.

I have! Well, sort of. More often he just rests on my stomach. Either way we get some good quality time in.
