How long would you say the protein shakes keep you full and energized? Any brands that you particularly enjoy?

oh, I'm jelly! I've been wanting to make one of those for ages but I have no idea how to sew :(

I was so mad at Andy when he gave away Woody. I have a teddy bear that's missing an eye, a mouth and his nose is quite literally holding on by a thread and yet I will never, ever give him away. Except maybe to my hypothetical child someday.

I see that others have recommended various children's movies...try the iron giant! Every single time I cry my eyes out. Also pans labyrinth!

What are your thoughts on meal replacement bars and shakes? I need to eat something quick in the mornings that tides me over till around one or two pm, and I'm definitely not going to cook and eat a proper breakfast before I leave for work at 4:30 am! I've heard that clif bars aren't as healthy as the seem, and Luna

please take my advice and DONT READ THIS WHILE EATING! I'm laughing so hard I almost choked on a bite of my plum!

When I finally have an apartment that can hold a sectional, I totally plan on buying ikea! I don't get the ikea hate. We have ikea dressers, nightstands and our bed frame and they're all in great condition, even though it's been 5 years.

I always wanted a white linen couch that I saw at restoration hardware. As an adult and as a chef, I now see how impractical that would be, and yet I still WILL BUY IT someday.

it's a typo. Missing the 'I' :)

oh, super cute! I love that he just couldn't wait ten more minutes! I'd imagine men have to be hella nervous beforehand. I wonder how often they chicken out and have to try again!

ahhhhh you must be on cloud 9! Congratulations!!!

aw! Did you have a great big reaction or did you have to keep it toned down because of the driving?

*swoon* I love hearing these stories. They're all so sweet! Did you get all mushy and cry? I totally think I would!

congratulations on 28 years! That's so inspiring! And that's totally my kind of proposal: no fuss, no muss!

Oh I'm right there with you! I guess I wasn't clear in the original post. We've talked about it numerous times and we're on the same line of the same page. We're at that point where it's like, any time now it's going to happen. So, like you said, surprise proposal, not surprise engagement!

Oh that's so romantic! Honestly, that's how I'd like to get engaged. Simple, private, unassuming.

you're absolutely right about going in with no expectations. And that's the thing, I'd be totally excited about just going to a fancy restaurant for dinner! It's just the chance of proposal is kind of terrifying/thrilling. I will definitely fill you in next week!

Question for you guys and gals! My boyfriend and I are celebrating our three year anniversary this week and he has some type of surprise for me.

whoop whoop! 23/24 club! How's 24 treatin ya? Older and wiser? ;)

There is never a wrong time for red curry! Or beer!
