like the Civic and Accord? Or do you mean the Outback? The Tacoma?
And just like modern BMWs, they are stuck in the shop with broken sensors that are waiting to be fixed by the manufacturer after being forced to admit they fucked up.
Some truth to that, but it’s more likely they could meet the regulations, but just don’t want to pay for it.
This reminds me of when you’re at a concert of a band you’ve loved for years, and the singer announces, “Here’s one off our new album!”
No, this is like going to your job as a flight attendant, being delayed - as is common in your job, and dealing with people making shit jokes as part of your job. Because it’s your job.
The difference being she’s getting paid while the passengers are paying for the experience of not getting to their destination on time.
Actually, Hummer had many substantial changes especially where it counts. Their frames, for example, were massively stiffer than their Tahoe/Colorado counterparts. The H2 used mostly 2500 series running gear too and had a really high gross vehicle weight. I had an H3 with the adventure package and it was the real…

“Oh, sorry! I thought this was the funeral for Buick Cascada.”
At least Kawasaki doesn’t sell chaps so HD has that market cornered.
I would argue that their brand is so heavily invested in old white men that, for them to survive, they’d be much better served at creating an entirely new brand, or buying one. Brand pivots are extremely hard to pull off.
Harley Davidson needs to rebuild from the ground up with a fresh, affordable product line directed toward the youth market. Their current market is middle aged, fat, and rapidly dying of various heart problems, and they absolutely need to reestablish themselves as a desirable brand for younger Americans and, more…
Don’t be that guy. It’s just shells.
While I do agree with your point about ruining the beautiful natural landscape, these are empty shells. Basically just sheet metal and steel tubing. The engine, transmission, tires, interior and fluids have all been stripped.
