I’ve been using Ecobee in my home for about 5 years. I love it. For me, the game changer is the remote sensors and the ability to have the thermostat use the reading from one of those sensors to run the HVAC instead of using the temperature reading at the thermostat itself.

Blue jays are assholes. We took down our feeder last month because there were 5-6 blue jays who didn’t know how to share and would chase away the other birds.
