I think it was better to know nothing until it was known that it wasn’t going to happen. No chance to get overhyped and then let down.

So in the podcast, they talk about how there should be more transparency and maybe they should at least say when they are working on a sequel to a much beloved series.... And they used Fallout 4 as an example. Jason and Kirk: Do you not remember Van Buren? Talking about sequels before they are “ready” is not always a

People who have a totally fine experience don’t report, because they aren’t angry and don’t feel a burning need to tell everyone how not angry they are. I didn’t have any problems playing either of the previous games on PC myself, despite not having the best machine. The low end experience was just fine thanks,

A quote springs to mind: “I’m altering the deal, pray I do not alter it any further.”

To be fair, none of that is stated in the article here. It may well be unfinished footage, but how are any of us here to know differently?

I mostly play games on Steam. Apparently the only way to make achievements not pop-up there is to disable the in-game steam overlay entirely. That’s pretty lame.

You are making me regret my original decision to skip this one :(

You are probably correct. Was going off memory of something I only heard once in passing.

According to Jordan Weisman on a Twitch stream yesterday, they licensed the mechs from some miniature makers in Japan before Harmony Gold bought the rights to the entire anime. Once it got to be a problem, they just backed off rather than fight it out (presumably because it wasn’t worth it money wise). That’s probable

It’s not too bad actually. Sure the Mechwarrior name is going to be locked up with Mechwarrior Online for quite a while and the rights to a Battletech movie are owned by Will Eisner of Disney and Harmony Gold will never let anyone use the Macross/Robotech series versions of anything in their game, but everything else

I don’t think you have much to worry about. The original Battletech game is still owned by Catalyst games, who’ve licensed out the rights to the Battletech computer game to Harebrained Schemes (Weisman et al).

You are talking about Mechwarrior Tactics, which was a free-to-play card collecting game bolted on to some battletech-like gameplay. Never speak of it again. It was crap. It deserved to die.

I like Clan mechs quite a bit (I have about 40 clan minis), but in terms of the overall game, they are overpowered as hell and unbalance a lot of things. Thing is, the first Battletech game needs to be a simple as possible so they can get it done. So they’ve set it in a time period where only the original ‘80s game

This is a country where you can sell square watermelons for $200 and people will buy it. Novelty goods can have quite high prices over there. I doubt osechi ryouri is normally anywhere near so expensive, but its a novelty item sold by a fancy store. I’m sure you know of fancy stores in your area that charge twice as

It’s not that different an art style that you shouldn’t be able to recognise characters from shows you’ve actually seen (and maybe some you haven’t). I recognise Shana from Shakugan no Shana, Mikoto Mikasa from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, Asuna from Sword Art Online, Kirino Kousaka from OreImo, Kuroyukihime from Accel

You mean like FFXIV where it’s all blokes? And then other people complained because no womens?

On the one hand, this is pretty much exactly what I was thinking... On the other hand, I can’t actually image a beardless Zangief. Even Robo-Zangief has a big old beard.

It could be their intention to make SFV as a service rather than a game with expansions. It should be a lot easier to push many new constant new versions when you can just use the internet instead of sending out physical boards to be installed in arcade machines (correct me if the arcade machine technology has gotten

The number of green-eyed characters in this promo material is two damn high. I wonder if there will be a plot point about this in the game.

You said Skyhook, but didn’t mention the band Skyhooks? How un-Australian!
