I'm wondering why this shower scene and the one with Madison Paige has the character leaning against the wall like that. About the only time I see that in a TV show or movie, someone had something very bad happen to them (often implied for the lulz) and you can see it on their face. Do these guys think that is the

Kyoukai no Kanata, 2nd episode. Was pretty funny watching that a day ago and then coming here and reading this article.

This ladies son would like to disagree with you. Sometimes you grow up and realize that your awesome parents are in fact super embarrassing.

I'm not familiar with Civ2, but it sounds like it doesn't have some of the win conditions that are possible in Civ5. That or he had them turned off.

It's more realistic this way. It protects against nipple pinching. Nobody wants to pinch a nipple when they are sneaking along the floor. Very hard to stay quiet then.

Probably the best thing about that trailer was how giant bosses are handled.

I prefer the ending theme for the second half of the series myself with the guy as the main singer. Gets ya right in the feels. Don't have a name or a video for it though :(

Hammerspace. I first heard the term in the 90s as Dimensional Hammerspace in relation to the use in anime. I think there was a card in Animayhem named that or something. Hammerspace is nicely concise though.

Why yes, you could be gambling with your life if you assault an animal.

Absolutely. The title of a game is its first (and possibly only) chance to impress these days. If it's super generic, then you start drawing all sorts of conclusions about the level of writing in the game.

I think it worth pointing out that the Japanese are using a meaning of the English word that actually exists in the English language. Yes, the average guy on the street doesn't use it that way normally, but both the medieval genre of Chivalric Romance and the 19th century Romanticism movement lend themselves to that

The panel under the Druid's avatar image has his name, race and gender. There does seem to be a hell of a lot of LOTR archetype referencing in those images. The Druid thing is probably just hand-waving. "Look, this guy who looks suspiciously like Frodo is a Druid, not a Thief, so he's not the same at all."

Back in the day, it was called pouting.

If you look at the other arm you can see. His arm is actually touching the girl and so the muscle is flattened out on her shoulder. Hair is hiding the inside edge of his arm so you cannot see it is straight. This creates the illusion that his arm is twisted/broken.

Clearly, GTA V needs a Google Maps Street View crew to give it a once over.

I suspect very few actual backers are calling it fraud or robbery. The reporting on the situation has been sensationalist across outlets and I can't help but feel the lot of them simply assumed this was a "buy a game" project like all the other "buy a game" projects.

Raising an army (or, in this case, building an enormous story-driven video game) is an expensive proposition and can take a number of years. In keeping with the scrappy, ragtag band of adventurers model, we are building this larger vision one step at a time. The next step is to build a functional proof of concept in

I find card games uninteresting, but I'm always looking for a good strategy game. I look forward to hearing something about the later beyond the fact of it's potential future existence.

I personally see a thinner, more psychotic Homer Simpson.
