I actually KNOW who Homer (the poet) is and my first thought that popped into my head when I read that was "Homer Simpson?"... so there you go.

@R_Claw: The only reason I DVR that show is in hopes of them doing that sketch again.
@AmethystMarzipan: Where in that comment does it even insinuate that I think poorly of people who do it? Go for it! Just don't be surprised when people for whom they were not intended get ahold of them. That's all I'm saying.
@sissylarue: Also- why would you ever do it if you aspire to fame? You have to know it will come out.
@sissylarue: I was just thinking the same thing. What is with these girls??? It has literally never crossed my mind. And I'm not a prude.
I actually think Blake looks gorgeous. Her body is insane. And I love Alexa as well. I wish I could pull off that boyish chic thing. The one I never get is Jenna Lyons. People go apeshit for her style and I just do not understand it.
@Miss Suka: Not only is it fugly but the whole thing reeks of desperation. What a coincidence that a week after your ex gets engaged (to his gf of like 5 years?!) you are suddenly engaged to your bf of 5 months. It's sort of sad.
@J.D.Regent: LOL. That is so true. But you know? I'm not a fan of hers and I actually thought the whole thing was cute. It made me stop disliking her for a few moments because she looks like she's having fun.
Oh children. I remember the first time, as a young asst., that I went to call in some looks from a major designer and was told, in no uncertain terms, to never use them as they were not advertisers. I was also once witness to a designer photoshopping off a recognizeable tag on a pair of jeans so that we could credit…
Is it me or does that dress make it look like Paris's head shrunk a la Beetlejuice? Just saying.
@annebreal: Can I throw in a "Hey, Dude" reference here or does that out me as an oldie?
This may be the unintentionally meanest thing I have ever written in a comment space, but Mia Hamm is exactly what I aspire not to look like at a glam event. She literally looks like she ran in from picking up the kids at school and threw on a cocktail dress. But I like her because sometimes you just have to do that.
@elyseface: Not that I'm a huge Patti fan, but to defend her in this instance- I do remember that episode. And that guy wasn't a sweet down-to-earth guy, he was a total pretentious jerk. And I think she was more about him growing up and having a nice place than showing his wealth.
I caught that drunken rant from Audrina's mom on E! yesterday and I have to say, it was maybe the best 3 minutes of my day. Amazing!!
@SarahHeartburn: Easier than you would think. I did it sans drugs and was literally in so much pain I had to concentrate on just breathing in and out. I was so focused on the pain that I didn't really scream.
@BreeKilledGeorge: Totally agree. I can't even watch these shows anymore. I DVR'd Bev Hills and ended up fast-forwarding through most of it.
@gloeden31: That just made me laugh out loud in the middle of my office.
@girlarchaeologist: Amen.
@rednrowdy: SO true. I had this conversation with my single, eligible bachelor cousin once. He said he would never date a girl over 28 or 29 because it would inevitably lead to a marriage/baby convo within 2 dates and he didn't want that kind of pressure. That is why he is 37 and engaged to a 25 year old.
@daisyhalfwit: I don't judge her either. I just don't understand why- if you have the monetary means to not work- you would NEED 4 nannies. I have 2 kids and, while one nanny would be nice, I think 4 is a little excessive?
