One thing about the game, if you come up on any NPCs talking, like even if they are ones that you have to interact with, if they are already talking... it goes on forever and its incredible. Like you can just listen to the NPCs talk for ages if you want.

They really can’t shut up in GOW:R. I’m just rooting around for loot and it’s constantly “hey why don’t you do the obvious thing over here?”

I’m confused by the lead image - does she have braces?

I only played for 90 minutes last night, but I didn’t find the chatter all that annoying. If anything it kept the game from feeling less generic. I probably would have played more, but I wound up watching Tammy and the T-Rex for 20 minutes on the in-game TV.

I look forward to God of War Ragnarok adding the same option for puzzle hint chatter. Like, let me have the time to even figure out that what I’m looking at even is a puzzle.

I use to love AA “Weekend rental” games but the problem is game rental doesn’t really exist anymore and dropping 60 dollars on a game I can beat in weekend just doesn’t appeal to me.

I have an old friend with the last name of Syke. When “psych” happened in our peer group(s), it really let you know which bulbs were the dimmest.

A syke/sike is a small stream that usually dries up in the summer, like a ditch.

But “sike” is a real word! I just don’t know what small streams (particularly ones that dry up during Summer) have to do with this article...

That is a bizarre use case that applies to almost nobody. People who spend money on a next Gen console aren’t trying to purchase the last Gen game, maybe 1 in 10,000 gamers would do that. That would just clutter the store. It is nothing like the ps save situation which applies to a huge number of people.

For me this comes from playing FPS titles. If I consider the character to be an extension of myself, then I think of the left joystick as the top of my head. Pulling back looks up, pushing forward looks down.

Username checks out!

It’s wild to me that people play games without inverting the Y axis.

Welcome.

Very much yes. Previous experience with prior games will of course amplify the experience, especially in the final sequences. But if you don’t care about the lore and just care about the game, this is a title with an incredible diversity of weapons, sub-weapons (in the form of demons), mechanics, locales, and methods

I said it before in my other comment, but my answer is “institutional knowledge.”

The sick irony is that the in-person representation on election day tends to lean conservative. But let’s not make the mistake of assuming these freaks are capable of rational thought.

Backwards. Dems want DST. Washington, Oregon, and California have for years been calling for DST. States can, at any time, decide to stay on ST if they want to, because of how the law was written. It’s moving to DST that requires Congress to act.

Also, it’s not at all bad for sleep cycles or kids. Not sure where you’re

This is the most frustrating part of watching and listening to right wing voters.

It is completely selfish, but I really just want DST year round. I am a night person and work a job that is about half a shift later in the day (starting around noon and going until 7 or 8). When the sun rises makes no difference to me (I’m asleep usually), but having light outside the windows just a little later in

Wait. what? You want the perpetual darkness that we are about to enter? Only beneficial to upper class people who golf? Only beneficial to the upper class, and only something republicans want? where did you get this idea from? 4pm sunsets is literally the most depressing time of year. No thank you.
