Thread. The. Whole. Thing.

Ivanka Trump is officially a Republican now.

“Not Trump” isn’t going to work for you? How about 4 more years of Trump and more irreparable damage to the democracy? How prayfuckingtell do you define “conscience”?

I voted green in ‘12, but I was dissapointed in most of Obama’s policies by that point

I voted for Warren, but I will have zero trouble voting for Biden or Sanders in the general. The worst of the bunch is Bloomberg. It would basically be voting for a Republican, but I’m still not sure he’s worse than Trump.

If you’re voting your conscience and your conscience isn’t telling you that Trump needs to be out no matter what, then you are part of the problem.

In 2016 you didn’t know how bad Trump was going to be, but now that you do know, you’ve decided that the children in cages, suffering minorities, people getting healthcare ripped away, etc. etc. is an acceptable price for you being able to “vote your conscience”? Exactly what is your conscience telling you?

it should be illegal for people to let their cats outside to roam around and trespass on other people’s property.  keep your cats on your own property!

Navel gazing isn’t an appreciable skill and substitute for virology.

Fuck.

I’ve read what you just typed 3 or 4 times and have little idea what you’re trying to say but I’m quite certain the cognitive emesis you’ve just displayed is why the person you responded to concluded his/her statement with:

[sifting through the bowl of mixed nuts at the bar] “You won’t believe the week I’ve had, barkeep...” [licking fingers to help peel twenty off the stack of bills] “...I guess this flight home isn’t going to catch itself. Stay safe, buddy!”

This individual has a point to make goddamit! Don’t go ruining it!

Did it occur to you that she’s neither saying nor suggesting that the phrase is “incorrect”, but simply quoting the term used in the policy? (That’s why they are sometimes referred to as “quotation marks.”)

correct.  it should not take longer for me to pay for my groceries than to shop for them.

Yes. This is a million times more efficient, especially now with customers bringing their own bags. Scan the item. Put in your bag, and go. What’s the problem?

I’m actually very excited about this. I hate waiting in line, unloading my cart, then having some one bag the groceries in a less than ideal way. If I can bag as I go, and get out with waiting in line I’ll be the first one to visit this store if it comes to my area.

Ugh! I remember it did that about four years ago. Here in Jersey City, my garden came to life way too early in the season, then a frost came right at the beginning of April and slaughtered nearly everything.

You are right! I know of two couples that had big weddings and because they were fairly established in their careers, they were going to pay for everything themselves, no help from family. As most things happen, as the day got closer and closer their budget got lost as expense got bigger and bigger. Both couples ended

I’m getting married in April. The only reason it’s even kind of big is because our families insisted and said they’d pay for the biggest things (like catering, my dress, and the venue), otherwise it would’ve been teeny tiny, and I’d planned on just buying a nice dress from somewhere I consider fancy (like
