Compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs (the ones with the “twisted” glass look) were some of the first high-efficiency bulbs on the market, but they can’t compete with LEDs in terms of longevity and energy use, so they’re fading fast.

People are really fucking dumb, TikTok or not:
LOL:
One might make it more difficult to press a couple of keys and take a screenshot, but how in the world do you prevent things like, I dunno... Taking a photo or simply transcribing the content?
That really sucks, especially since as far as I know, the BEAM test went really well! Why the heck not continue developing it? It’s actual tested technology, not just a bunch of wankers with silly concept art.
My favorite type of band-aid repair are the ones that have single lane restriction with the little pop-up traffic lights. “Hey, this is unsafe for two lanes of traffic at once, so at least now only a couple of cars will fall into the river at any given time!”
Nah, even better - can’t fail inspection if you don’t inspect it in the first place!
None of them were, or would be, ‘telling the judge to get fucked’ because the only organization subject to this ruling is the CDC. The judge said the CDC can’t mandate and enforce mask-wearing, specifically, *on transit*. The entities themselves are free to make their own rules.
I don’t agree with the judge, but your post is incorrect. Specifically, the ruling is that the CDC (a government agency) overstepped its authority in creating and enforcing the ban. This ruling has nothing to do with any of the organizations you mentioned.
Most (all?) of the botanical kits have components from LEGO’s new-ish sustainable plant-based material. So they’re trying!
This just in, footage of the first officer on the scene:
I don’t know about anyone else, but “sleeping in the airlock” sounds like a decision that leads to an over-the-shoulder shot of someone creeping up and pressing a red button in the middle of the night in a sci-fi movie.
True, but I get around those by resizing my browser until it formats to mobile mode and displays all the slides.
I’m really mad that you didn’t post Figure 1 so the public can decide whether or not these so-called “alluring photos” are indeed “adorable.”
“Let’s tune out the noise, and stay focused on the work...”
Yeah, I was scratching my head when I drove past a billboard advertising flights from Scranton (AVP) to Newark. It’s a two hour drive, and there are several bus options including shuttles from the airport itself if you don’t want to pay for parking in Newark.
Those short hub trips are nothing new whatsoever. I took a Continental bus from ABE to EWR more than a decade ago, so it’s not even a new thing at that particular airport. Tiny airports like this run shuttles to the major hubs all the time.
Also, there’s the dissent, joined by traditionally conservative-leaning Chief Justice Roberts.
Cultural shifts, I guess.
