Oh you sweet summer child.

Bad example.  He was just so monotonous, he put me to sleep.

Comedians that think “woke culture” or “the far left” or “cancel culture” or “SJWs” or any other boogeyman “ruined comedy” are at best lazy, at worst complete hacks.

First time hearing about this book was in reference to it’s amazing dedication.

I hope Collins can pull off world-building with more.. err. finesse.. than JK Rowling has been able to.

I shall invent a device that alerts Dolphins fans when they are being erroneously charged for purchases. It will emit a Dolphin-call shriek if a skimmer is used to rack up a fraudulent charge. I will call it “the Miami Sound Machine.”

It looks like the main three (Goldblum, Dern, Neill) will be returning for Jurassic World 3.

Union busting is disgusting.

I wrote this elsewhere, but even as a not entirely traditional person, I really only cared about the ceremony. I wouldn’t have cared if my sister wore this for photos or during the reception or interrupted our first dance or whatever. But to me the ceremony is the only part of the wedding that is actually important,

Come back on Friday, tbh.

Unless they change the title from New Mutants....yeah, I doubt it.

Have you ever listened to “The Thrilling Adventure Hour?” It’s an old podcast that is sort of an homage to radio serials from the first half of last century. There’s a segment called “Beyond Belief” about two married, high-life socialites who can also see ghosts, so they solve supernatural problems on occasion.

I mean...cool. I honestly was hoping for Dewbacks or Rontos. I had the Ronto toy as a kid and I think the dewback as well. Blurrg is fine too, I guess.

Not to be confused with blarggs, which inhabit a very different universe:

Wow, I was skeptical about a CG animated Scooby-Doo, but that looks alright. I’m still very skeptical about the voices.

The comic book industry in America was founded by Jews escaping Europe before and during WWII.

one cool hack to this problem is to turn to them and go ‘hey can you put your phone away until the movie is over?’ and 9 times out of 10 they go ‘sure’. that’s a lot cooler than writing violent fantasies down on the internet for strangers.

Good Authorian Boomer mindset you’ve got there.

Yeah dude, that’s a really weird and violent fantasy. I mean, you basically just described Alamo Drafthouse but without good beer or popcorn and instead heaps of disproportionate violence.
