I'm picturing Steve Carrell and Rainn Wilson as Hook and Smee. That's... interesting.

I agree with you, but I'm mostly commenting because of your username. Fellow TMBG fan, I presume?

In theory, but as Konata said most people who played those characters didn't play equally as all the transformations. I love playing as Sheik, but I couldn't play as Zelda to save my life, so what is technically almost two characters' worth of moves is really just one character that's missing an attack for me. The

"Don't half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing."

I'm almost sure that they've already gone on record of saying that he's doing the new ones.

Is it bad that I honestly can't tell if that's a picture of him as Wolverine or Jean Valjean?

I'm still having difficulty pinning down exactly what options are available for those of us who already have the starter set from the first Disney Infinity. I've heard tell about a downloadable Toy Box option a bit further down the road, but I'm having trouble finding the specifics on that. Also, do we know for sure

I'll bet Forever gets canned, but they're pushing it pretty hard, so it probably won't be first to go at least.

A "real" advertisement.

This. Thing is, I've never really seen those things get this kind of response. If someone points out a flaw in a movie's storytelling, or in a comic's art, it's generally taken seriously. Why, then, do people get the "Then you make it" response when they point out problems with representation in media?

Even from a basic consumerist standpoint, the argument of "you don't like X about my product? Fucking do it yourself." just seems baffling to me. Like, as a creator of products, it's your job to appease consumers, so the idea of just telling the consumer to make their own product rather than altering some unsatisfying

More like Sakurai Jack! Right?

Nintendo's absence isn't really out of the ordinary though, is it? If I remember correctly, Nintendo doesn't usually attend TGS, usually opting to broadcast its own announcements "Directly" to the fans in September instead.

I think most of the hate for him, as well as Lucina and Dr. Mario, comes from the mistaken assumption that these characters are taking up slots that would otherwise be occupied by other characters. As you said, these characters took very little time and effort to put in the game. The alternative to having these

I'm actually kind of excited to do it two times, although I might change that attitude once I've actually unlocked all the guys in the 3DS version. Unlocking everything is always one of my favorite parts of Smash.

Uh, what? Lucina's been a confirmed character for months. She's not a skin.

Normally, I'd agree with you. However, I think at this point in the Wii U's lifespan, they're committed to getting as many good games out as quickly as possible. I think Miyamoto's even said they're open to getting a third party involved in order to keep Star Fox on time for 2015.

Why do you think they pushed Smash into 2015?

My thoughts exactly. If they released all 16 new tracks today, it would add about a week or two to the amount of time it'll take you to get bored. In three months, you may have alreadp stopped playing the game, but you'll come back when they add eight tracks, and by then the original 32 will be so distant that they'll

Y'know, the fact that he specifically says the old script had Mordo as the bad guy makes me wonder if the new one won't. But like, who else would they have? Especially for an introductory film, origin story or not, Baron Mordo just makes sense.
