Probably fairly close. I imagine their pilots are at least competent, but that antiquated gear, even the older MiG-29s, would be no match for the South Korean AF, let alone the USAF.

For me, I find watching that Hornets flying so slow is more interesting than watching them fly fast. Flaps and slats extended, high AOA, it’s all they can do to keep with Hall until they stretch their legs. They don’t need afterburner to look fast at that point.
