Are you kidding? Bernie probably loves this shit. Talk about spicing up the show! But what the FIA doesn't get is that all of these drivers were able to go back and climb in their spare cars, and the race restarted with a full grid. Imagine how this race would look today. Well, it would look like the 2005 USGP

I was trying to remember who that was. It was either Takagi or Nakano.

Everybody was okay, and this was back in the days of spare cars (hard to believe these days, I know), so everybody (I think) was able to restart after the carnage was cleaned up. As it is, Hakkinen got punted by Schumi on the restart, and Herbert (I think) hit Hakkinen's stopped car. Crazy day.

So, since he's a successful filmmaker he's not allowed to be wealthy because of it? What's more important is what he does with that wealth.

Samir?

I think that was Detroit. Can't look it up right now, though. Google could probably find it.

RIAT and Paris are both on my bucket list. Or any European air show for that matter.

Maybe somebody has already mentioned this, but let's not forget that Ukraine shot down Siberia Airlines Fl 1812 over the Black Sea back in 2001. Let's wait a bit before immediately blaming Russia.

One summer, I worked for a temp agency. One of the jobs I was sent to was working the Stop/Slow sign on a road construction site. There was one older worker there who had a shovel, and he spent both days I was there, and presumably every day, walking around and poking at little piles of dirt with his shovel. In 16

P-38 you say? Here are a couple.

I don't know, I'm not sure it even works on the Intruder. The A-10 just look like a bumblebee. Those stripes are so strongly tied to a specific event/era that I think they are really only effective on aircraft of that period.

Or else just remove them. I'm all for historical accuracy, but aesthetically, it just doesn't work.

I also wonder how it compares to Paris. A lot of deals have been made this week, though.

Yes, please, the bright yellow and black one. I'll be standing over here.

I like the invasion stripes, but they don't quite work on a delta wing fuselage.

Cross post from Foxtrot Alpha because people who like fast cars often like fast planes. If you don't, then there's no need for you to click.

Thank you good man, but do you know if I'll ever get to be king?

"Thanks."

This is nothing more than a move from the Bernie Ecclestone playbook. He'll take his planes, because, as much of a Boeing fan as I am, Boeing doesn't make what he wants. Nobody does but Airbus.
