Time travel and alternate timelines are staples of the Flash mythology. It's a trifling gripe (especially when there are others more deserving).
I'd love Basil Karlo as Classic Clayface. But back in 1989, they merged Clayfaces I-IV into "Ultimate Clayface"…and that's been his schtick ever since. (Sure, Matt "Clayface II" Hagen showed up in BTAS, but they combined his and Karlo's backstories.)
