I actually bought a PS2 last year which brings my count of PS2's owned in my lifetime to 3 (big one, small one, and then replacement for the small one which is in my parents attic broken). I mainly got it to play Persona 4 though, a game I missed last gen.
@TheExplodingOrange: Fifa does soccer, not football. You're thinking of Madden. ;)
@Derkaderpader: Yeah, I think it began as a shirt.
@moopMASTER2000: No you don't...you'll lose faith in humanity, if you haven't already.
@waffles1993: It's good, but in reality it's just the same thing as the others but with a good story and relevant material for gamers who played the game. Still relies on basically the same principles as a MafiaWars or whatever.
Wow, that is a little eye opening. I always knew my wife's aunt was spending money on FarmVille but I didn't realize she was spending THAT much.
@DoctorDynamite: One line in Owen's post sums up the game though...
@mtora83: AC Brotherhood did an awesome job with their in game manual.
I'm a sucker for a good instruction manual (it's awesome bathroom reading or if you install the game). But EA is doing it all wrong. Either go the Ubisoft route and put the instructions in the game (also very good, but not as bathroom friendly) or go all out and give me my damn manual.
@brandoshido: You're viewing this as a game platform with a phone. It's not that. It's a phone first, game platform second...so if you're using it you'll already have the contract. The PSP2 is the game platform. So, from a phone perspective, this is amazing.
@brandoshido: How? He was playing emulated games, not the real thing. We haven't seen the actual games yet. If anything, based on the fact that a phone that now has buttons and can legitimately play emulated games instead of relying on touch "buttons" on the touch screen.
@reginaId: Damn. That stinks. Hope the update for your phone comes soon then.
@reginaId: 2.1 can now. The app says you need 2.1 or higher so flash must be available.
@TheFamous1: Newer phones with Froyo can run flash. My Droid 2 runs flash and I believe anything with android version 2.1 or higher can now.
@Wafflemao: If you downloaded it from the market around the time it was being pulled maybe that caused an issue. uninstall it and download it from the website.
@Mark Yen: Yup, do what everyone else is saying and you'll be allowed to download third party stuff easily.
Guarantee the number of people still playing is a fraction of that.
@Tinotoin: I disagree. Gameloft takes an idea and runs with it. They offer something similar to the original game but different. In the case of starcraft, there isn't a SC game on a mobile platform, so why not provide for the fans?
@d3v: You would be well suited to keep pressing them. The mobile industry is where the money is (in advertising, games, content, etc) and they are leading the pack right now with high quality games. You'd be set if you made it in there.
