@MichaelPalin: Yeah, the homosexuality view isn't held by the majority. I consider myself Catholic though I don't practice. I believe in gay rights and am pro choice which almost makes me an enemy of the faith by today's standards. But, there's a lot of us out there.

@stopbanningme: Yeah. You have to remember the times. These were corrupt men who viewed the papacy more as a political post, one of the highest of the time, rather than a religious position. It was a dark time for the Catholic faith, and one that cost them a lot of followers.
Yeah, I'll probably pick it up. I wasn't swayed with the original Assassin's Creed but part 2 was great. I'll take anything they can give me that elaborates on the story.
