not only are you not the only one who remebers this song, i have changed the words for a version which includes my daughters name.

so i watch that House Hunters International show from time to time. I find it interesting to see the locations and different types of homes. I get irrationally mad at americans who are looking for homes in other countries and are constantly dissappointed at how the homes are so different from those they lived in here

So i was at work one day telling a coworker i'd like to go on one of those disney cruises someday when my daughter is a bit older. Coworker says "dude, i took my nephew, you're on a boat with a million kids. Don't do it." Why hadn't i thought of it in those terms? Yuck and no thanks.

I agree with you. Put her arms down (and stop making a stink face. It's prom, smile, have fun!) and she'd look great.

thank you for this. I laughed out loud, like for realsies, at work. And i love you. Have a fine day!

I dunno, tired kids? Is there something you absolutely must have from a store prior to letting them nap? I mean, we can argue semantics all day, but i think you get the point i was making.

see, i don't think it is unfair. As a mom of a child who has proven she is totally capable of throwing tantrums and acting bratty, i understand completey what we all have to deal with.

when i was writing my comment i knew i would get a response in regards to autism. And i understand what you are saying. I think most people can tell when there is something more going on, and i do have a heart. The woman i saw at the grocery store clearly was not suffering from any disabilty, and the mom's response to

I'm a mom as well. Like you, i have been lucky that my daughter has never acted out or had a meltdown in public. She has begun to get a little sass in her tone or get whiny once or twice, but i give her the mama-is-NOT-fucking-around look, and she quickly remembers that mommy don't play that.

yep. Not even sure why i clicked on this article? It's the reason i stopped checking 24 hour news channels, just a bunch of guests speculating on news stories. Speculation is not news, it's irritating.

i didn't, and now i am rethinking all of my decision making skills...

my husband (who lives under a rock?) thought he came up with a super original name. I was pregnant in 2007, he asked if we had a boy, could we name him Ayden (sp?). That was the year of a billion trillion Ayden variations. We have a daughter. We went classic and simple with her first name, middle and last are long,

I'm in CA. Isabella, and variations of it, have been popular here for years.

ehhh, don't worry about it. I'm a scorpio, my mom looooved me and i was her favorite, not openly, like my siblings didn't know (i was first born, that may have played a part in the favorite thing). As a child i was pretty mellow, never wanted to get in trouble or be the center of attention, entertained myself.

mary poppins?

Oh. My. Word. Yes, be mad. May i share a story with you? My mom passed a few years ago. About a year after, starts dating woman we are loosely aquainted with. Very soon after he went to Reno and MARRIED THIS WOMAN, and then came home and told my siblings (his kids) and me. The fuck? (She ended up being very

awww your kitty looks like a wonderful grouch :)

yes, thank you, and hugs back to you. Please know that i will be thinking of you this Mother's day :)

i too lost my mom to cancer. Kidney cancer. She passed in 2006. I miss her terribly. We had a German Shepherd, her whole personality changed when my mom was gone, depression i imagine.

oh, i wish i could make a quilt. I am the worst at sewing. I do crochet, and made him a huge blanket for our bed. He chose the colors, not to my liking. Now i can make myself a pretty one for MY bed ;)
