so i watch that House Hunters International show from time to time. I find it interesting to see the locations and different types of homes. I'm a mom as well. Like you, i have been lucky that my daughter has never acted out or had a meltdown in public. She has begun to get a little sass in her tone or get whiny once or twice, but i give her the mama-is-NOT-fucking-around look, and she quickly remembers that mommy don't play that.

i too lost my mom to cancer. Kidney cancer. She passed in 2006. I miss her terribly. We had a German Shepherd, her whole personality changed when my mom was gone, depression i imagine.
