@nach0: Just presenting the facts

@shkm: Not really many enthusiast motherboards have software that can overclock and or change voltages while the machine is running. A virus could access one of those if they where installed, but that is a very small market.

@nach0: I never denied this, the resolution is lower but now by a massive amount. Also you must take into account that while the iphone 4 uses tried and true led displays all of the android phones on that chart use the newer amoled displays that can produce more colors, have a better viewing angle, better response

@RecipeForHate: That is what i said, they made it competitive. It is in the lead , but it is not leaps and bounds ahead like everyone seems to think.

Phones have had resolutions close to this or matching it in the past. stop slobbering over everything the great Steve tells you to and wake up sheeple! The iphone used to have a very low res screen they fixed it to be competitive with the rest of the market . It is by no means a thing worthy of awe.

I live in south Florida, so no matter what you do no one can keep a cpu under 60c at load with ambient temps of 27-30c even inside, my 65nm core 2 quad idles at 29-35c in the winter and 48-55c in the summer. in summer or winter it maxes out at about 65c. Now my laptop, that will get up to 90c on a regular basis and

@slb14: so? Now apple does the same thing, with the notable exception of that helpful screen telling you everything the app has access to. In the app store you have no clue what an app has access to or what it can do.

While watching demo videos of ios4 multitasking, it occurred to me that it is in essence a carbon copy of android multitasking. press home button list of recent/running apps pops up select one phone switches to that app.

@Clashwerk: those reasons are part of my point. The iphone 4 has the same or less in all of those criteria. Equal processors, equal ram. The only one we dont know if is that data transfer, and i do not think that would be a limiting factor unless htc really skimped on the system board quality.

@slb14: not all of it is untrue. I am an android convert and i would not go back for anything

a few questions here, if the iphone4 can take 720p video with a 5 megapeixel sensor why can phones like the incredible only take qvga? Could it be bumped up when the phone is rooted? And if so would it cause instability?

but how much better is the battery without the 3g?

@Celery: i can read two even 3 500 page books in a day if i do nothing else. But even then that is why you have on board memory. Even in just the integrated 2 gigs you can store thousands of book, how are you going to run out?

i am sold

do not worry its entirely made form the vhs tapes of the The Star Wars Holiday Special.

@justinpe: and now you do. I have had the voice directions and turn by turn work flawlessly to get even the most obscure places.

@SewerShark: nor do i but the tech involved here could bring good things in the future. Imagine Steam releasing a small client just for streaming games that you own on your account. Or multi player games with 2000 people because the console playing the game can outsource computing to a server farm. the possibilitys

@SewerShark: hopefully they will scale the servers as needed. I would like to see this succeed.

iphone 4 cases! WOW these are for IPHONE 4! they deserve a double post!

@dfp3050: its like buying form steam. but the games are never sent to your machine and you absolutely need an internet connection to play. where as steam has an offline mode.
