I have a better suggestion— instead of pretending to be civilized when you’re in public places, which is bound to make you nervous as fuck, actually be civilized and practice good table manners every day, or at least regularly, so that you don’t have to fake it.

General Rule of Thumb:

If you are going to mix your liquor with soda pop/juice/etc. buy middle tier stuff. No one will know if they don’t see the bottle. (So don’t be afraid to refill that one expensive bottle...)

If you are going to drink it “neat” or with little ice, buy what you will best enjoy. (That can mean top

“If you’re not a liberal when you’re 20, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative when you’re 40, you have no head.”

Gigi’s getting a bit better — at least she’s learning to make eye contact with the camera — but her status is way out of proportion to her ability. Also, I think she’s kinda generically pretty.

But at least little Teddy had a whole community of loving witches and wizards to raise him. Harry really got a bum deal.

I’ve done that at concerts, and other things, along with a bunch of my friends. No one cared.

As an early Siouxsie adopter (read: old), i heartily approve, twigs.

Jayne Ann Krentz. She writes across three genres (historical as Amanda Quick; modern as Jayne Ann Krentz; sci-fi futuristic as Jayne Castle). She is fantastic at all. But, what I think you as a sci-fi reader might like, is that she has series that run across all three genres. It will be a mystical group that impacts

LOVE both of those authors. Thoughts on Courtney Milan? She was my gateway author for Regency-ish novels.

Beverly Jenkins! Romance publishing was pretty closed to writers of color for a good long time, and she was the first Black romance writer to really “make it.” NPR had a sweet profile on her a little while ago, which made me read her first book, Night Song. It was very good! Romance, even good romance, is pretty

Eloisa James can be a good place to start, if you think you might like 18th and 19th century themed romance. I liked her Desperate Duchesses series and the Essex sisters books. Each series does have a dud novel IMO, but they are pretty good. Lisa Kleypas is also good, especially “Suddenly You”.

I’m not sure if everyone would agree, but I think Outlander is a gateway between sci-fi/fantasty and romance novels.

That’s a hell of a coke nail.

When I travel alone, I bring a small rubber doorstop to wedge the door shut. It would make it extremely difficult to open the door without me knowing, so I sleep better in shared airbnbs, etc.

Well, if we follow the advice of my friends on Facebook, we should just drop bombs in civilian areas, kidnap and murder the family members of terrorists that may not even be involved in what they do, ban Islam as a religion from being practiced in America or better yet just nuke the whole Middle East. Because that

I also love the colors, but then I graduated from Clemson so I’m a bit biased.

Oh bless your heart, you completely underestimate the true fundie’s ability to rationalize and deceive themselves.
